Let let spend the money to eat off the buffet but there wasn’t anything on it and sat for 30 minutes before asking and they said they wasn’t putting anything out because they shut the buffet down at 8pm. They could have told this before paying for it. Also the hickory location has a lot of young people working there and not any how do you say older management so they get lazy and don’t put out fresh stuff very often. It’s not bad when it’s fresh.
I enjoy going to Village Inn Pizza and I've been to several different restaurant locations and I've been going since the Early 1970's. I love the salad bar and the pizza buffet bar. This is one of the smaller locations but the food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant was clean so was the bathroom. The staff wasn't the friendliest but that's ok the food made up for it. I will be back again.
The food was very good except for one piece of pizza that was left from lunch. Although it was past lunch time, it still tasted good. Potato salad was exceptionally good as were the beets.
Good place to eat but at this time no wings on Sunday due a shortage of wings but they have on Wednesday night maybe other days don't really know

The best village inn around hickory! The chili beans are AWESOME!! Plenty of pizza on the bar and always a great salad! Employees are very friendly loved it

The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the girl at the counter was amazing. Sweet and professional. Other than that I am disgusted. Watched the middle aged lady with glasses cleaning the salad bar 1. Not wear gloves 2. Dump new ranch on top of old ranch 3 pick out bad peprocinis aand discard of them in her hand. The bathroom was disgusting too. . Sorry village inn your pizza is amazing but this location or village in won't be my first choice for a while
A nice home town pizza joint that serves other menu items such as wings. They have a traditional salad and pizza buffet. Staff is great. Decent dining room with quite a bit of tables.
