With a full parking lot, we were seated immediately. Fresh hot rolls were brought right away. I ordered a 12 ounce ribeye cooked medium rare. It looked great, but was actually cooked rare. Our waiter had it remedied and returned it perfectly cooked. The salad, baked potato, and steak fries were all perfect. We were given excellent customer service. We also bought a dozen hot yeast rolls to take home for $4.99. Great meal.
What used to be a desirable dining establishment has turned into a filth ridden waste of money. We visited last week and the restaurant was disgusting. There was a large mess of ranch dressing on the floor in front of our table. I watched 6 different restaurant personnel slide and glide thru it as they traveled back and forth. No one offered to clean it up. As we were leaving my toddler daughter managed to slip in it. I was furious.

I placed an online order and once I was there to pick up my order, I asked for A-1 & was told she. I asked the girl that brought out my food if it was in there, to which she replied, I told her so it should be. I looked in the bag and didn't see it so I hollered at her twice to which I know she could hear me bc I have a big mouth but she chose to ignore me. Then I get it home and this is what my salad looked like. I was sorely disappointed. The steak was at best a 4 star. I had such high hopes for a great dinner.
Last three visits ribs were ordered and they came out burnt and dry. A large portion left inedible. Second time received a refund. Came back for a third try. Staffing in the kitchen was to blame on one trip by the manager we spoke to. Other food is either great or poorly prepared. Hit or miss.
We just had a perfect family night with a large party at Texas Roadhouse in Hickory. The general manager must be outstanding because our food was delicious, and cooked perfectly. Our server Katherine D. was amazing always checking on us and made our time even better. Hot bread and awesome steak make this place the best! The other restaurants must take notes. This is the best place you can take your family ?
Everything was great I asked for well done steak, received one with pink almost all around it. Then we seen a hair on my boyfriend's steak, the manager came over and was polite and told him he didn't have to pay for it.. Other than that appetizer and drinks were great!
Very good service. My ribeye was perfect! Our waitress was very friendly and have us perfect service.
Got on the list, waited the hour and a half, was told we were not on the list, was then told we was on the list but wrong phone number and another 60 to 90 minute wait. After getting in and ordering our lettuce was bad and a bowl was dirty.
The food was great, service was lacking. We had to wait for about 15 mins before being waited on, as the hostess got our drinks. Our waitress was very polite but lacking overall, very disorganized. Our daughter went for over 30 mins without drink. We didn’t get silverware until we asked for it when our salads were delivered. Then we were asked to share two rolls of silverware for our family of 4. The bathroom was nasty and in need of cleaning. We won’t be going back to this one. (It’s not a staffing issue either, they had plenty of employees)
