Me and my mom started going love the BBQ and ,potatoe salad Cole slaw and okra. Mom loves the beef and rice if your looking for great country cooking definitely go sit down and I mean get a great cooked meal served quickly and with a smile.
Decent food, courteous people. The only bad thing I can say about this place is the way the employees are treated. It's 2022 and these people are only paid on average $8 an hour, what a shame
It's very good place to go and meet people there the food is good the service is great not really any drawbacks I put on four stars instead of five because it's not my absolute favorite but it is very good

Awesome place with a country feel, as a transwoman I've never felt gawked at or not accepted here. The food is great and the staff is friendly.
The first time eating here an it will be my last. I had a to order an I ordered a cheeseburger an it had a smell an looked bad. Ask for crispy fries an they weren't even cooked still raw. Now I could understand if THEY were busy but that wasn't it. Not one employee was friendly. This place needs some help.
Oh, the Snack Bar. An institution.Hot, delicious real home-style cooking. My husband can't resist the country style steak and gravy. I love it too, especially with the rice.They do NC country cooking. Pickled beets, kraut dumplings, chicken and dumplings and more.They serve real butter with the bread basket, and always bring me diced onions for my beans and cooked greens.The Snack Bar is a local gem.
First time in years I ate here it would sed to be great. I had no napkins only a spoon and the food was bad. As I checked out which was extremely high for what I got I said I won't be eating here again older lady said well don't . Lol poor just poor
Was there with a friend on a Wednesday afternoon. Just had burgers & onion rings but they were tasty! The service was even better! Thank you Snack Bar!
My parents love the snack bar and we go every couple weeks. The food is always good and portions are generous. The waitresses are so nice and friendly
