Went in for the 1st time since moving to Newton 6 months ago. So glad I came into this establishment. Amber my waitress was great! Ask for her. Sushi was amazing and Japanese food cooked to perfection! I eat Japanese and sushi several times a week. This place is at the top of the list for sure. The entire family loved everything from start to finish!

My wife and I have been dining here for the last five or six years and we absolutely love it. It reminds us of the quality we were used to when we lived in the Fl Keys. The staff have always been pleasant and attentive, the atmosphere is family friendly. The only "complaint" I have is the enormous size of the Nigiri and sashimi. Not really a "complaint" but an inside joke with the owner. If you enjoy fresh Sushi then look no further than Sakura and you will not regret.

My wife and I have eaten here twice and had a good experience both times. The sushi is good and reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. There are a lot of options on the menu but we have only tried sushi (so far). We felt appreciated as customers and we will definitely become regulars here.

If u are wanting Japanese food and the other place is closed then keep on driving!! My wife wanted Japanese the other night and for $50 we both got steak and shrimp and egg rolls. When I got home and open the boxes they were 3 shrimp and about a ounce of steak with about a half pound of rice! The shrimp was so overcooked they were like rubber and couldn’t eat them and the steak looked like it had been cooked and then reheated on the grill. If I had been given this to eat in the restaurant I would have sent it back and went to Taco Bell that’s in the same parking lot!!

Its gd but $7.00 for a small ( i mean like Steve Martin "lets get small") cup. You guys cant blame Russia for this. Need bigger soup containers. Signed Sad Lunch& no fried noodles?

Sakura is always a staple in our household. They have some of the best sushi in the area. Their bang bang shrimp is amazing and so is their spicy crab salad. Their scallops are some of the best in town and their food is always fresh!

Don't walk, run. Run to them and give them monies in exchange for delicious food. Did I have to drive there to place my order and wait? Yes. Would I do it over and over again, yes. I couldnt fathom the thought of moving so far away that i couldn't treat myself to sakura. The staff is friendly. And the food is 10/10.

We were won over the instant we walked in the door. We were greeted as soon as we arrived, by a very friendly staff. Seated quickly, and had great suggestions by our waitress, who followed up with excellent service. We ordered Sushi!! It was very good!! The flavors worked so well together! This will be a new hometown favorite for us! Highly Recommend!

very excellent chairs, I walked into the fine restaurant on the beautiful day, the temperature on that specific day was 59 degrees and it was fine! When i walked in I immediately noticed the little kid sitting in the corner with his laptop talking to people. The windows were very cute and also the little kid in the corner on his laptop talking to people. He was at least 10 years old. The fish tank was super cool but I do not remember a lot from it because my eyes were fixed on the kid in the corner with his laptop talking to people who I assume are his friends. The kid at table 15 with his laptop was super short, chubby, and he had a great haircut! Another think I liked about the restaurant was its location. I don't remember a lot but I remember seeing the kid at table 15 in the corner with his laptop talking to people who I assume are his friends. I wonder what game he could possibly be playing on his laptop while talking to people who I assume are his friends. I also remember a paper thin guy with the kid in the corner at table 15 talking to people who i assume are his friends. They were always laughing and would get in trouble. The food was GREAT and super good, the best ever but the only reason why I'm giving it a 5 star review is because of the paper thin man and the kid in the corner at table 15 talking to people who I assume are his friends.

Great little place, first time eating there. Very friendly staff. It took about 15 minutes for food. Ordered for to go, food was delicious, definitely recommended the scallops and shrimp.
