We ordered a 12pc spicy chicken, meal with mashed potato, french fries.When we got home there was no fries and the chicken was not spicy. I called back and explain what happened, she remembered our order. I was told there's nothing she can do about it because I didn't receive my receipt from their staff. I asked, so you're not going fix our order? Through out the whole conversation she was very rude. Conclusion, she stated she would not fix my order, or replace the fries that were missing.
I've eaten at Popeye's restaurants in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and several times here in Hickory. Since the Hickory location opened up, I kept hoping they would improve over time. They haven't sadly. I've eaten here for the last time, ever. I walked in today and thought I'd entered an impoverished third world country. The men's room was an absolutely sickening, smelly place, it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. At that point I should have taken the hint and walked out but I decided to give them a chance. From the counter person to the person that handed me my food, they need to be taught basic human communication and courtesy skills that should have been learned in kindergarten. The food was okay, just okay, but I couldn't wait to get out of there. It will be a good day when this dump closes and is replaced with a restaurant that can do a much better job.
Drive through was very fast. Employees were very friendly. My mom and I got flounder sandwiches which were basically inedible, they were so fishy. My step-dad, who is picky eater (and was skeptical) loved his chicken sandwich. The beans and rice were also a hit.
Spent $24.00 on some chicken order and it did not taste good. The batter on the chicken was not tasty at all. I don't know if you all changed the recipe or what. The biscuits was not warm. I really want my money back. Won't be coming back.
I was at the Hickory location a few days ago and it still upsets me with the way I was treated after I told them my order was incorrect. I was told that they are no mind readers in a very derogatory manner. I will not go back to that location until I see a sign Under New Management.
The lobby needs to be opened because trying to do door dash & having to go through the drive-through they need to have it where door dash and others that deliver can come into the lobby as long as the line was tonight because if we do not pick up their order on time we get a penalized for it.
In the past I've had a few bad experiences with this location... But sweet Jesus was they on point to day. Mac n cheese was a mess......I loved it!!! 5 stars for this visit for sure.
I was so disappointed, drove all the way to Hickory to get some of the best tasting food only to find hair in my food, and of course no one will answer the phone
Who is the Owner of this restaurant? You need to hire the correct employees. It's a restaurant, not a zoo or circus. Take forever to get the food; It took forty minutes to get the food For my order, and I did not even get the order right; this is every time. The employees are Rude and unsanitary. The petite caucasian lady, the manager, does not have shoes on; she was sweeping and then prepared the food without washing her hand; she looked like someone that's on drugs. I Place an order with a large red bean and rice. They gave me two small red beans and rice instead and told me that it was because they premade it and the small red beans and rice all dried up; I like Popeyes, but these employees Have zero working experience, and I meant zero.
Extremely rude employees for no reason. Y'all need to check your attitudes. This is the worst location that I have ever been to just for the slow service alone. You can be the only person there and still spend over 10 minutes in the drive thru. The employee yelled at me to never come back. They definitely don't have to worry about that, lmao. If their attitude is nasty then their food is probably nasty too ? I can't tolerate people making rude remarks to me just because they don't know how to work a speaker.
