Large menu. Beef, chicken, seafood, pasta, vegetarian options. Had beef tips with rice was very good. Also had strawberry cheesecake. It was one of the best that I have ever had. Staff was attentive and helpful. Plan to return to try more food options.
Food was very bland. Nursing home food. At 63 I was the youngest customer there by at least 15 years. That was out of 60 customers. I needed more flavor. I felt very out of place.
Our server was very busy but still was able to take care of us in a truly hospitable way. The food was delicious and plentiful and the prices quite reasonable. I was surprised to find Greek options on the menu but, I have never had better tzatziki sauce in all my years. I look forward to returning as soon as I can.
Tonight was our first visit to Parkway House and will not be our last! Hubby and I each got country fried steak with milk gravy. Delicious! Crispy and the gravy was perfect thickness and not over~peppered. His salad was ok, nothing special. His mashed potatoes with milk gravy were very good. My collard greens were good. My fried squash was perfect! The slices of squash were substantial enough to compliment the breading and fried perfectly. Crispy, not greasy. Hubby even liked it! All less than $25 (I drank water) before tip. Our server, Kendra, was delightful, patient with explanation to questions. Drink refills were on the table before our cups were half empty. We're definitely planning to return.
The food was wonderful and everyone was very friendly. I tried the big bad pickle burger and it was excellent!
I have eaten at Parkway House many many times and have enjoyed every bite of foodI have ate there. However, the last three times I've gone there it took forever to get waited on and I go when there is hardly anyone is in the restaurant. I went today, literally sat in my booth for over 15 minutes and not one person come by and asked to wait on me or ask me what I needed or what I wanted. There were only two other customers in the whole restaurant. I did get up and walk out. This really upset me! How can a restaurant stay in business when the employees don't even care if they wait on the customers or not. Will I go back, probably but I'll get up and walk out again if I'm treated the way I was treated today. So sad that you cannot get good employees anymore. I have had friends of mine tell me they have experienced the same thing. This is pathetic!!!
AMAZING service, food, and atmosphere. I absolutely love the family vibe and they have the best deep-fried livermush!!! The service is above and beyond and I couldn't ask for better experiences when I go. THANKS Y'all!!!!
Excellent Italian food ! Had chicken Parmesan , stuffed shells and calabash shrimp . Great service !!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Really loved this place. They have a huge selection of food and very friendly staff. It was my first time there and everyone made it seem like I'd been eating there forever. I had a burger and it was flavorful and cooked very well. I'll definitely be stopping by here again next time I'm in the area
