Can't say enough good things about the station! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and if you've been to the bar, you already know about the best bartender in Hickory, Dave! We love the station and highly recommend whenever you're in town!

Loved the scenic outdoor dining and they were so accommodating for my pet and the food far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely recommend and be back.

Best chicken sandwich. That apple butter barbecue sauce was better than it should have been. I was not expecting it to be so good. Have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food!

Amazing staff food and atmosphere. OUTSTANDING Apple butter BBQ sauce you should bottle this seriously!

Tough review because the food could've been really good if it hadn't been cold and burnt. I ordered a bean burger. One side was black. It was cold. It did not have avocado on it as listed on menu..We were hungry and it was still good.. could've been so much better. The service was not good and was another reason that I just let it go instead of mentioning the cold, burnt, avocado less burger. There was another employee, maybe a manager, who collected our dirty dishes and brought us our bill. We rarely saw our waitress. The sangria was good. We'll try again and hopefully the next time will be better. The pizza looked really good, so maybe we'll give that a try.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Revisited on the 30th to celebrate my husband's birthday. Our children joined us.We ate outside. We had a great waitress, Jessica. She was funny, she checked back and made our celebration more fun with a lot of laughs AND great service! The food was really good this time. 2 of us got pizza, my daughter ordered the aforementioned bean burger, all good! I'm glad because we like the place. To be able to park once, eat, drink, walk over to the sails and listen to music, makes it a perfect Saturday night stop.

This is one of my favorite area restaurants to dine at — especially if a friend comes into town for lunch. I always order the cauliflower fritters — crispy on the outside and hot and creamy inside with a dusting of Parmesan and a buttery spread. For lunch, I enjoy the station shrimp and grit cake on the small plates menu. I don’t usually eat a large meal at lunch and this portion is ample for me. The five shrimp are skewered and grilled and they are served with a tomato vinaigrette and a white butter sauce along with the grit cake. In other parts of the country, the grit cake would be called fried polenta. No matter what you call it, it’s always delicious!

Very nice place. Ate dinner there. Food was delicious and the atmosphere is outstanding. Right alongside the railroad tracks. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area

Sweet tea, Brussel sprouts excellent. BBQ sandwich unfortunately wasn't warm - kinda cold and there wasn't any sauce nor much slaw. Was disappointed. Cheesecake and service were good.

We have made many great memories at this restaurant. The food is always amazing. The service is better here than at most places these days. We have never had a complaint. The atmosphere is wonderful at any time of day or night.

Sat at the bar. Dave was our bartender and was friendly and fun. Good wine and atmosphere. We had the appetizer with chicken salad, pimiento cheese and pita wedges. Both were delicious. Split a bacon jam burger, also delicious. Definitely a great place for anyone who likes local brews and good food.
