Definitely a good portion of food and worth the price! Sadly Mondays are closed for the time being. I went through drive through and the staffs were ok nice. Food is fairly tasty!
After moving to Hickory a couple years ago I had been looking for a good sushi spot that I could actually get into. Tried several without much success. Then, after driving by Nara so many times I finally decided to stop in a couple of months ago. I haven't tried the cooked dishes other than tempura (though my bride says her sampling was good) but the sushi is of surprisingly good quality and reasonably priced. Tempura is also good. I have since become a regular patron. Service is always good and they now know my order specifications.
The atmosphere at Nara is clean and inviting, but the food is not satisfying. Not enough flavor in the fried rice or egg rolls. Not going back.
The food is great. And the sushi is some of the best I have ever had ! 10 out of 10 would recommend
This place is a rip off they over charge you and brought us the wrong items. They changed full price for my 12yr old. She order a kids meal we were charged over 15 bucks for her .... never again
Decided to give this place a second chance. Placed order around 6:12. Told it would be about 10 minutes. Went to the restaurant 20 minutes after placing order. Paid and told to pull forward to wait. Waited another 15 minutes. Husband went inside and got a refund. Never again.
I tried the drive thru at Nara Japanese Restaurant earlier today and had a wonderful experience. This was my third visit in recent weeks and they did not disappoint! I love the fact that you can drive up to the window and place your order. A smiling and friendly young lady took my order for a teriyaki chicken dinner and I paid just under 10 bucks, very reasonable indeed. The box of food comes out in about 3 or 4 minutes and I'm on my way. The staff there is awesome, as is the food! I pulled over to a nearby parking lot, ready to eat the hot meal. Every part of my meal was amazing and I enjoyed each and every bite! There were outstanding cuts of teriyaki chicken and the rice, brocolli, and sweet carrots were delicious as well! Of course, the shrimp sauce sets it all off into "high gear"!! You get generous portions as well! I definitely recommend Nara Japanese Restaurant for a wonderful and quick meal. This excellent dining experience was the highlight of my day!
Very nice experience. A wide variety in Japanese and Chinese food. It was great very authentic worth every penny. The service was quick.
Our table was a mix of hibachi and sushi. All good. Wonderful staff, prices are great. We'll be back!
Food brought out quickly, friendly service; the food is decent.
