What a PLEASANT and delicious surprise to discover this establishment ?? . Chicken is a specialty and it's delicious . Wonderful lineup of vegetables and dessert choices .The staff is upbeat and happy to please .

My favorite place to eat. The best fried chicken and a wonderful variety of delicious sides. I'm so thankful they are located on my side (west) of Hickory as I eat there every week. The people are very friendly and organized. They are open Monday through Friday (closed weekends). I'm more than pleased every time I go there with my wife to eat. She smiles at how much I enjoy my meal. I'd give 6 stars if I could.
I was very disappointed in the meal. I ordered a breast and wing w/ 2 sides and an helping of peach cobbler. I recieved a breast and drummett w/sides. The taste was awesome but it was not worth $14 and the menu prices dont match the amount of food or presentation.
This is the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I was trying to call in an order and was put on hold from the time I drove from the mall area to their restaurant placed an order at another restaurant and was on the way home when they answered. They told me they were busy and shouldn't have even answered the phone. This has happened 3 times in the last week and a half. I guess it's my fault for keep going back. Won't make that mistake again.
First time here - delicious food & a great price! Ladies "serving" were so nice & friendly & FAST. Dining area was relatively clean but never saw anyone cleaning tables, sweeping, or generally cleaning the entire time we were there. Trash cans were overflowing & random stuff was piled on top of the wooden housing units. Just seemed like they'd had a rush & hadn't gotten to it yet but it was 730p so I'm not sure. Didn't deter us, food was still yummy!
I don't understand all the positive reviews for this place. I guess people settle for mediocre food at best. I ordered 2 piece breasts with two sides. The chicken was over done and was dry and chewy like leather. The sides were ok but there isn't much you can do to ruin corn on the cob or baked beans. I will stick with Publix fried chicken, the best I've ever had.
Honey I ordered 6 fried wings, pasta salad for my side and some banana pudding! It was gone in 5 minutes lol...delicious...
I am so happy I happened upon this place. The food is good, homestyle, and fresh. The Chicken is definitely the star, but them [email protected] side are delicious too. I ordered a three piece dark, potatosalad, and baked beans. Ate the whole plate!??♂️
Ordered tenders and asked that they drop them fresh waited 10 minutes on them then they tried to sneak cold ones in my box I watched the lady do it and then she tried to lie an said they was fresh !! I've spent my last dollar there an when I see the owneri will tell him what his help is doing ??thumbs down ?
