The cleanest and most well run Sushi place in the area. Staff was great. Service excellent and food quality tops. Highly recommend. Modestly priced
We had it really nice time the food was excellent it's staff friendly and our waiter was exceptionally well trained trained in sushi, Lots of other dishes I would like to try still. And a FYI to my fellow service men and women they will give you a veteran discount if you ask.
They don't open for dinner until 5pm, so we had to wait in the parking lot for 10 minutes. The restaurant was clean and wait staff were friendly. They kept drinks filled. The rolls were very affordable. I really liked the sauce for the crab Rangoon. They were not busy at first but when we left they were filling up.
A pound of ginger doesn't make up for that fact that this is the poorest rolled sushi I've ever had. The presentation is terrible and the taste is lacking. Will not try again.
I normally love kuru's. But today I was very dissatisfied. I called in a to go order at 6:15. I ordered 3 rolls and teriyaki chicken noodles. We waited the time we were told and pulled into drive thru. Several times we were told they were waiting on the entree. At 7:30 she opened the window again. My husband asked for a refund. We had been waiting so long and all the cars behind us drove off from the wait. I repeated that I wanted a refund and she said, let me ask them how long it will be. Then comes back saying just 5 more min. Are you sure you want a refund. I just wanted my food to be honest. We were hungry. We got the food at 7:34. We get home and realize she forgot a sauce cup but it happens. We got to eat the lobster roll. And normally it is still warm from frying it but this time it was cold. I dont normally complain but this was all around a bad experience.

Went here for sushi with some family members, had a good experience. Had to wait a bit for the sushi to come out but it was worth it. I got the Volcano Roll, Yellowtail Tamachi Roll, and Sunset Roll - they were all great but the Sunset roll was definitely the best.Tip: Try the Sunset Roll - it is the best on the menu and very unique!
Love this place! Amazing original and classic sushi options! Really awesome staff, QR code menus, and a really cool place to hang. The restaurant is small in terms of location, but it adds to the charm. Highly recommend.
Not my first time here and I love it just not sure why I don’t come here more often they are amazing creative and big variety of sushi and rolls and teriyaki and hibachi if you are not so much into fish
All around wonderful experience! Delicious sushi and hibachi, steak was cooked to perfection & loved the sunset roll. Really clean place and our waitress was sweet & service was great. They even have cute signs! We travel from Asheville to Raleigh often and honestly this is now one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in or between either place!
