I think the food was wonderful however I bought some crab legs paid $29 for him for three little clusters it's not worth the money I would never pay $29 for three small clusters of crab legs ever again and if you going to buy crab legs at harbor inn please note that they are small and not worth the money you're paying
We decided to take my Mom out for her 76th birthday for fish, because she loves fish. We choose to go to Harbor Inn in Hickory as the one in Morganton was closed. So, we get there as they open, the customer service was fabulous, the staff was kind, the service for 15 people was fantastic. Even though some in our group was a little loud toward the waitress, she was totally absorbent and proceeded to serve as if we were the best group ever. Hats off to the staff and the waitress for my family on my Mom's birthday.Thank you for making it a success.Oh yeah, the food was great too, served hot and on point.
Excellent wait staff, the food was hot and there was plenty off it. I had a flounder plate it cost 11$. It was so much got a to go box.. I have been there the last 3 straight Saturdays. They will not let you down.
Crab cakes were not to our satisfaction. Crab cakes just full of bread and stuffing (which was not crab by the way) 10.50 is too much money for this garbage. How can this be a seafood restaurant if they can't get the crab cakes decent? Horrible I actually left a tip also. Will not eat this ever again. 1 star for effort.
The food was excellent. Super menu selection and great service. You won't go away hungry. Nice atmosphere as well.
I see why old people are the only ones eating here!! I had the worst heartburn I've ever had in my life after eating here!! I felt like dying. I had to sleep sitting up. Most elderly folks are prescribed Pantoprazole and take it in their daily medication regiment so they are not affected like a younger person, like myself was effected. I had to buy and eat six tums this morning!! The service and prices are excellent but the grease used has to be really old to have the kind of heartburn I had!! I'll never eat here again!!
Friendly staff, huge drink selection, great food! The tartar sauce and seafood cocktail sauce were delicious! The mango martini was wonderful!

We had a delicious meal here today! The restaurant was extremely clean, and the food was cooked to perfection!! Huge servings, and the hushpuppies were sooo good!! Karen greeted us with a smile, and gave us the best treatment, we will definitely ask for her our next visit!! Go here, if you want a great affordable meal with great customer service!!
Harbor inn is good sea food, getting it to go isn't such great idea, the carton will turn everything much like soggy french fries.. Dine-in and you'll enjoy your favorite seafood,steaks, and even burgers that are sure to satisfy all the family and friends.
