My husband and I ordered food. Simple lo mein and fried rice. My husband got sick immediately after. I didn’t I assumed it was just him. I ate the left overs the next morning and I ended sick immediately after as well. Not sure if it’s due to the amount of grease that was in the food or what. Sucks I use to love eating here. :(
Guess it all depends on who's working, what kind of experience your going to have. Four days ago, I was there...ordered the same thing I always do. Today, I go order my usual, get ready to put my card in, and see the price is almost $6.00 more than it was 4 days ago. I question it, he said the pandemic, food cost more! Ok good one, I'll go with that. Get home, its less food, white rice that has set in a rice cooker all day, (usually comes with fried rice) and the food was not even hot!!! I ask the guy if the menu had updated prices, and of course it don't! Had someone else to Call, they get a different price. Food is not the quality it use to be!
I have been here a lot and because of the latest reviews I almost didn't go. I read reviews saying not as good as it was, under new management. I went thinking most people don't real know good Chinese food. Because I have been to many places in the past I always found golden china to be the best. To me it still is. Food was hot fresh and tasty even after drive from there to home. ( right below blowing rock) Thank you Golden china for the great food.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices, quick service, restaurant was clean. If you are looking for a nice China Reasonable, would definitely recommend.
I haven't eaten here in years (moved off). Stopped today and food is mediocre at best. Small portions. I won't go out of my way to eat here again.
The new owners are not as good as the old owners. I mean when you can't make good fried rice that says alot.The old owners use to make the best chicken and broccoli I had ever had. But those days are long gone.
Good food, been here a long time
This place is quite possibly the worst place I’ve ever ordered from. I placed a pickup order for my family. Normally, I would check the food before leaving the building, but today I didn’t have the time. I get home and my order is completely wrong, they gave me someone else’s order. What’s upsetting for me and very scary, they called me 4 times and I answered the first one and told them they gave me the wrong order! Calls me two more times and of course I don’t answer. They call the 4th time so I answer and the man apologizes and asked me if I would BRING BACK THE WRONG ORDER and they would give me what I ordered. First of all, why would I bring back the wrong order? What are you going to do with the food that’s already been unpacked and touched to someone else…WTF!!! Second, why would I want to eat the food after that. Will never eat here again!!!
Food isn't bad but it used to be so much better. Something has changed and the food isn't as good anymore. For instance, the sauce used to be better tasting and more plentiful, but now it's not. Also the sign on the wall said 5.95 for my order but they ended up charging me almost 10 dollars. Probably won't go there again.
For the high price the food was dry, cold and just not good. First time and last time eating there.
