We beat the rush on a Friday evening, arrived at about 6pm. Service was attentive and overall good. Food was amazing. We had the filet with asparagus and fries and the shrimp and grits. The steak was melt in your mouth tender and deliciously seasoned. The shrimp and grits were absolutely fantastic. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the grits were well seasoned. The desert was apple cobbler and was enough to share.This is our go to date night for great food spot. The drinks were also poured very generously.
Not as impressed as I had hoped. The inside is very nice & restroom was spotless.The chef salad wasn't so fresh. The chopped deli ham & turkey had zero flavor. No bread or crackers were offered with this salad. The chef salad would have been great with some kind of cheese added. Boiled eggs were over done.Will try again in a few weeks to see if there's been improvements.
Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday. It was fairly busy but sat down right away. I had the shrimp and grits. It was really good with a good Roux based sauce. I would of like to see more grits but otherwise a good meal.
The experience was phenomenal. I reserved for a large party. They seated us immediately, we ordered our drinks. Once my party arrived, they took our order and everyone's food came out hot at the same time. The whole experience was great.
We were looking for a place to eat but because of the time all the restaurants around denied us EXCEPT Fresh Chef! Food was delicious, amazing service and atmosphere! Thank you so much, God keep blessing!
Food was overall great!The atmosphere was quiet due to having an entirely different area for large groups, good design.The menu is rather expensive, but the food was mostly worth the price.I ordered the grilled salad wedge salad with salmon, and though the salmon was great, the wedges were burnt to being black, extremely unappetizing.Overall recommended, just stay away from the wedges.
Our extended family went here for a delicious Easter brunch experience ( I recommend the smoked salmon salad. Delicious!). When our energy company’s rebate debit card we used erroneously settled the bill; the owner personally met us at the restaurant and issued us a Fresh Chef gift card for the amount in question. It really was not the restaurant’s problem; but he said he didn’t want us to stress about it! How many businesses would do this? Not many…This restaurant is worth our local business. Delicious food and conscientious ownership. A winning combo!
