we went to hickory location and were seated promptly and our waitress was friendly but tbh the food sucked the gravy was nasty and the biscuits were small and hard we had two jellys in a basket for a table of four and originally we were only given one small bowl of gravy for 3 people but since the gravy sucked maybe they were trying to spare us and my bacon was chewy highly disappointed and this is the third time i think Hardees big breakfast is better quality
Honestly there's not enough words I could say to help out Cracker Barrel. I can tell you this though this place it don't matter how busy it is or how long you got to wait, I promise you it's always worth the wait. Every time I've ever been there the staff was always very friendly and they got us sat down and take our orders and got them out as quick as they could and as busy as they stay, I just like to give them a rose for all the hard work they do. Believe me I used to be a waitress for about 17 years so I know exactly how hard it is whenever you have a house full of people packed out ready to eat at your restaurant that you're working at, but it's always worth it in the end to make someone else to might be having a bad day or just in a bad mood it's always good to make them smile, and all the employees at cracker barrel have always done that plus more and I've always went out of their way to get everything I've ever needed.
Omg, first cracker barrel never disappoints. But who knew you could get a mimosas for breakfast at the cracker barrel in North Carolina.
Hadn't been in a Cracker Bartel for awhile. Met out of town family there and 6 of us had great foodLike every place else, you'll have to wait awhile for a table but you can sit outside on the rocking chairs. Our servicer was very friendly and prompt. Food came out quickly and was nice and hot.
Food was good price was great! Staff was friendly and good service!!
One of the best food for money ratio restaurant you'll find. Staff is always helpful service is usually pretty good take out can vary from time to time but is usually prepared fairly quickly. Weekends and holidays this place is slammed that should tell you something.
cracker barrel has great food great service and the staff and the service is awesome every time and to check out cashier's great they're great people
Our waitress Brenda was very nice and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. I had the roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and seasonal fruit. Unfortunately the roast beef and gravy and mashed potatoes all lacked flavor, however the seasonal fruit was very good. My wife had the chicken and dumplings with a side of corn and pintos. The chicken and dumplings were good the pintos were also tasty, the corn however lacked any flavor whatsoever. We also had biscuits and cornbread. The biscuits were soft and flavorful however they appeared in need of a second rise. We spent about $30 on the meal including tips, unfortunately the food was just not as consistently tasty as it usually is.
Food was good and very great service. The waitresses was very kind and good at her job! She helped me bag my food while I held my son. The lady who checked us out was also very kind.
The bacon was more like jerky,I ordered eggs over medium and they were hard. They have added rice to the hashbrown casserole and it was terrible no taste of cheese at all. The biscuits were under cooked and they have changed the gravy,it was really watery. And it was barely warm,this has always been my favorite place for breakfast.
