Their difficulty-shaped drive thru in reality gives the air of genius engineering so thick that I can actually taste the Superior flavor of architecture in my mouth. ? ALSO, the jarring that your heart gets from the SCARe of the super squelched voice (that always catches you off gaurd) that comes out of the speaker is a classic cookout feature. It's what makes the milkshakes even better... But hickory cookout beats all the others I've been to when it comes to "parking lot pimping blueprints" ?❤️
Horrible experience. The cashier was BEYOND unprofessional. If you cannot call someone by a professional and non objectifying name then customer service is NOT the job for you. I do not appreciate being called things like that in general much less after a long day when I just want a no hassle meal. This guy will say that to the wrong person and will cause a lot of issues. Thankfully me and my fiancé were completely willing to handle it by talking to the manager but not everyone is that calm you never know how someone will react. Completely dissatisfied overall and would give zero stars if I could.
I’m not disappointed because of the food because it’s great. I understand that places are working short staffed as well. I work in the food Industry myself. I came by tonight like I do almost every night after work. I normally come to the front window because the lines are so long. I came to the front window tonight and waited about 10 minutes for someone to come to me to take my order. Four people literally seen me standing out in the cold at 11:49pm and didn’t bother to tell me that they wasn’t serving the front window at this time. It’s no big deal because like I said I understand. The problem is the lack of respect for a customer that comes by all the time that is standing in the cold. Four people seen me and not one came to tell me you wasn’t serving the window tonight. Bad thing is to, I normally tip whoever servers me. You need to put a sign up if you’re not going to be serving anyone at the window so they know otherwise there’s no way that they know. It’s just rude to stand and look at someone and not say anything to them.

The past few times I've been by this Cook Out, some minor part of my order has been wrong. Today I got handed someone else's food entirely and, of course, didn't unwrap the burger until I got home. No Cajun seasoning on the fries, but I've come to expect that even when I specify. No phone number to call to get the situation fixed. So Imma eat the wrong food because I'm hungry and don't want to drive 15 minutes back into Hickory, and this will be my last trip to this Cook Out.
This is a pretty standard Cookout. However, the lack of parking makes this place hard to get in and out of. Even still, I don't really have much room to complain. Food is good and the service is par for the course.
ordered two three piece chicken tenders plates with sides, and got one plate with the wrong sides, and the other with no sides at all.in addition, our drinks were also completely wrong.
This location is always packed with drive thru traffic and small parking lot that drive thru traffic is backing up into the main street. It's dangerous. walk up service needs to be open. After trying walk up service because of drive thru traffic, I was met rudely by the staff to tell me walk up service was closed. (There was no sign stating walk up is closed) Put up a sign and don't be rude.
Waited at the window for 30 minutes, only to find out our food had been ready for a long time. The girl who waited on us was awful. Food was cold.
I always go to this cookout, like for years i’ve been going here.. and today was the worst experience i’ve ever had.. there was a WHOLE CHICKEN BONE in my chicken sandwich, the first bite i took. Almost broke my damn tooth!! I’ve never experienced something like this at any fast food restaurant.. The cashiers are so rude I didn’t even wanna go back. This is so disappointing and disgusting. Never again.
