My husband and I were there for dinner tonight - our first time there. We had the Southern Sampler for our appetizer. For our main course he had the pork chops and I had the scallops. We added salads to our meal. He got the house salad and I got the BLT salad. We topped it off with the skillet chocolate chip cookie for dessert. Everything we ordered was outstanding. Portions were huge. Even the iced tea was delicious. Service by Alison was exceptional. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!
The crab cake appetizer was the best dish all evening and they were very small. The scallops were drenched in olive oil and the risotto had no flavor. The blackened chicken pasta had whole leaves of spinach that took over the entire dish. Everything needed the salt. The soda is extremely flat, no carbonation.
We just left Cafe Rule… Ashlee was our server. She was an absolute delight! We hadn’t planned on eating there tonight, but I’m so glad we did! She deserves all the applause! She was busy but she took incredible care of us. Anything we needed, she brought quickly. I had the fillet and to be honest, it was one of the absolute best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to come back! ❤️❤️
A little pricey for a family of 5, portions could have been a little better than what they were, food was great and the service and waitresses were outstanding. Would definitely go here again. Great atmosphere.
We had an excellent meal, last night. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary. Our server, Holden was INCREDIBLE!! He was so well-versed in the menu. His suggestions were spot on. He truly made our meal an incredible experience.
This was a prom dinner. Our waitress was nice and the food came out in good time.
Food was very flavorful, and was served promptly. We had a nice table in the back, with a good view of the restaurant. Service was good and attentive. Nice overall experience, and I would return. I recommend it to others.
The bacon, deviled eggs and oyster appetizers were amazing. The scallops and risotto were delicious. Unfortunately the filets were over cooked. We were seated in the back corner next to a party of 10 so it was rather noisy.
Cafe Rule has upped its game in the last year. We had a great meal last night. The cocktails were excellent and imaginative, my filet was perfect, and my husband loved his flounder. The only disappointments were soggy, lukewarm, uninspired thin-cut French fries served with ketchup. A thicker cut fry served hot and fresh with an aioli or remoulade would be a tastier and better fit for the menu.
