We visit this town 5 times a year and ALWAYS stop in. We stopped in Saturday June 12th. If you haven't found this little place yet, here's why we eat lunch here: 1) Matthew and Rosie are such nice people 2) There is no better chicken soup anywhere. Period. 3)Feta fries 4) Apple raisin Annie sandwich 5) Superior sweet tea. Trust me- order the 1/2 sandwich and chicken soup.
The reuben sandwich was great. They're potato salad had chopped green pepper and yellow peppers giving it an interesting flavor. The wife had the BLT with an emphasis on the bacon. Great service even though it was very busy. Highly recommend.
This is a great lunch spot on 3rd Ave just off Main St. In Hendersonville. This is the Mile Marker sandwich with a cookie, chips and fruit. It was delicious, and no, I couldn't eat it all! They are also hosting a benefit for Homes for Youth on June 16th. Drop by and have spaghetti for a good cause!
Wow, what a friendly store! And, good food with great portions! We came for the first time today and had a super experience. The food was tasty and we felt welcomed. Very pleasant and we will be back!! I wish I had taken photos!

My fiance and I were walking around downtown and saw this place on a side street. We walked down and noticed the huge menu in the window so we decided to give it a try. Wow! The service was excellent and the food came out fast, there are tons and tons of menu items and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches. The owner came out to say hi, the weather was beautiful. Really we couldn't have asked for a better lunch. We will definitely be back soon!!

This is by far one of the best experiences we had had traveling. The owner came around and spoke to us. He even remembered my name when we paid. Great food and an even more awesome staff. Would drive 3 hours again just to stop in and have lunch. I really enjoy supporting local businesses and would suggest everyone coming to dine here!!!
My niece and I go every chance we can she lives in Asheville/ Swannanoa area, grew up here, so loves to visit, great soups and sandwiches, best meals and a great price, staff are always friendly even when they are busy, in fact I’m taking my neighbor there on Friday!! She’s also been there a few times. I would recommend this place to anyone who visits kudos to the owners and their staff!!!!
