Very expensive and the food was not good
Great service and the food was delicious.
Had a chicken and shrimp burrito, my father in law had a chicken& steak burrito, and my husband had a steak chalupa.. ran into my next door neighbors and they had take out. But the moment I got home I was sick, my neighbors said they also got sick and so did my father in law. My spouse didn't.. but that's too many people that got sick. Just be careful..
Stopped to pick up a food order at a Mexican restaurant. They charged me $8 more than they did a couple of weeks ago and the price on their menu. The manager could not tell me how much a chicken fajita dinner was. Obviously charging whatever he wants. I think it’s price gouging and not honest and open business. He showed me a sign on the door that said prices are subject to change. Ok…so what is the price for 1 fajita dinner? He couldn’t tell me and He said - do you want the order or not? Then asked me to leave when I asked him again to just tell me how it added it up. He didn’t care. I left. I don’t do business with folks who can’t even take the time to explain this sort of thing. I’ve spent a lot of money at that restaurant in the past. No more.
The best thing is that if it's not in their menu, which has tons of dishes to select. They can make it for you. All I wanted was a big salad and let me tell you, it was the BEST, DELICIOUS salad I ever had. Try it with your regular food is AWESOME.My daughter loved her food and Margaritas ????
We used to love going here as a family but it has changed a lot recently. The food is extremely salty, the wait staff doesn't really care. At least the manager tried which he was very nice. They used to care about how they cook their food and the quality of service but it has gone down a good bit at this location.
I really enjoyed my sandwich it was their famous tortas. My mom got something I forgot but it's in the picture. The meat or something tasted like toothpaste it reminded me of the dentist. Idk. I will go back but only if someone takes me. I'll update next time I go.
Papas and Beer is always busy, and the tables are very close together so it can be somewhat loud. They have an extensive menu, with a LOT of great options. The salsa bar has good variety, with some spicier salsas and some more mild. I ordered the fajita salad with Adovada (a crispy pork with adobo spices) and it was delicious. My son always enjoys the enchiladas rancheras. The combo del Mar is nice when you want something different. It includes a shrimp enchilada and a fish taco, along with rice and beans. Their shrimp and tilapia are usually good. The wait for a table can sometimes be long, and there isn't any real place to wait inside so during winter it can be a pain. It's not my go to Mexican place because of the space, but I do like their food a lot.
Good food at good prices. They have multiple vegetarian options. Staff was friendly. Parking lot is small with potholes in it.
Best Mexican food we've found since we moved here several years ago. Loved everything I've tried so far. Great food great service.
