Just ordered some beer. Sat on the covered side deck on some very worn seating. Not our favorite stop of the day. Beer was fine.
Had heard nothing but raves about the food. Not from me. Had a Prime sandwich and a short rib sandwich, both with sweet potato fries. The prime rib sandwich was fatty and both sweet potato fries were to the point of being burnt. Won't do that again.
Our group of 5 tried a bunch of stuff. Guidon has one of the best food selections of any brewery in this area. They have an actual kitchen, not a food truck parked outside. I had a salad with grilled chicken, apple slices, pecans, and goat cheese. We also had a large plate of nachos and a large plate of grilled shishito peppers with pork and broccoli slaw. YUM! I'm not a big beer drinker but the Hefeweizen was good! The friendly owner came over and talked to us for a while. Also, live music on the outside covered patio. Comfy couches in the upstairs area and darts downstairs. A new favorite brewery.
Donnie and Marcia really took care of us and made food like how your mom would make. Very kind team working there and the beer selection is fantastic!!! Their Open Mic on Thursdays is the best in the area.
My husband and I came to eat here on the way to our hotel for a wedding. It was perfect! We had the dry rubbed wings and the special of the night -the Philly cheesesteak with potato salad. It’s located inside of Guidon Brewing. All of our food was really good-highlights were potato salad (cause they put bacon in it, duh), the beer cheese on the Philly, and the perfectly cooked wings.
What a great place to spend time with friends! The "shining star" for me was the food though! I had a smash burger with drunk onions and my goodness, that was one of the best burgers I've had in a while. My friend had the pork belly grilled cheese and I almost had to beg to try it. It was AMAZING. Cheers to the brewery for excellent beer and thank you Chef Donnie Simmons for the delicious eats. We will definitely come back!
Great food, great atmosphere and great beer! The staff is friendly, warm and welcoming. It is in a fantastic location with outdoor seating. The food is on point!!! It is made with fresh ingredients making it flavorful and paired with the beers available, it is the perfect dining experience! I would highly recommend this brewery!!!
Top notch fish and chips, the batter was not only tasty but beautifully crunchy and the fish (haddock) was nice and fresh…hope they are keeping this on the menu..My wife had a pork belly cheese sandwich and it was served with the beer bbq sauce… mmmmm… great food and great beer together… you’d be silly not to go get some!!
The beer is excellent. It's very comfortable on the patio. Next time I'll try their food.
The Hefeweizen and Stout are perfect for genre in every way. They both embody the traditional styles in body, mouth feel, flavor, aroma, and appearance. Top those characteristics with the presentation by a Scot in a kilt and owners who were on the spot to pitch in and you have a memorable and desirable experience.
