Friends told us these places was good, boy oh boy were they right!! Scrumptious burger, good burnt ends... Mac n cheese was okay, the burger and smoked meat was definitely the star of the show.Small beers but can't win em all.I suspect I will return!

We went there for dinner tonight and decided to order one of their Neapolitan style pizzas. The crust was limp, floppy and chewy. This is the third time we’ve had pizza there. The first time the crust was also limp, floppy and chewy. A year or two later we decided to give them a second chance. This time the pizza was perfect - crisp as it should be. We probably won’t go back.

Took my friend visiting from out of town here for dinner. We both were happy with our food and the service we got.I had the Brisket Stack sandwich with Mac and cheese as the side. The sandwich was awesome with a lot of flavor the meat and cheese was over stuffed the bin. The mac and cheese was some of the best mac and cheese I had at a restaurant. My friend had the BBQ Pork Nachos, which I got to taste and they were really good. The server did a great job. Kept our drinks full and quickly brought our order to us. She did not overcrowd us or make us feel rushed. The restrooms were clean and well stocked.I would recommend going here if you like BBQ.

Carolyn our server was amazing. Best brisket ever. We shared the Sampler Extreme Platter King Size and Piggy Mac Skillet with 4 cheese macaroni and cheese, pulled smoked pork, competition Sauce, crispy buttery bread crumbs, and torched cheddar cheese topper with green scallions - WOW!

We actually found this place on BringFido( website to find dog friendly places) because we were traveling with our dog. We love BBQ, so this placed seemed fitting!! Well it sure WAS!! The outdoor covered porch was great for us and the pup. The service was friendly, fast and informative! The food is Amazing!! This is now the 2nd time we have been in the last month. We didn't get pictures of all the awesome food but let me tell you, it's not to be missed! The Piggy Mac Skillet is one of the best Mac & Cheeses I have ever had!! The Smoked Combo Platter is pictured and was so good. We have had many appetizers and other meals as well & the Flat Rock Salad...so good. The portions are very hearty and affordable. We took with us to go too. This is one of my top favorite places to eat now because it's an ALL Around Winner for me!

We had been there before a couple years ago. Remembered the brisket as being very good. Server told us yesterday was his first day. Polite, but knew nothing. To us, stacked infers plenty of sliced meat. The small sized "stacked" sandwich was $15 of chopped meat-included onion rings that we didn't want. Sides were taken right from a can. Next time we would all order from the children's menu and the portions and quality were almost the same at half the price. Very disappointing.

Good service and great food. The pizza and BBQ was cooked well. Great atmosphere and would definitely recommend.

Where do I start?! This place was great (and I've not been able to say this about a restaurant ANYWHERE for a while...like even BEFORE COVID began)! And our server, Carolyn, was amazing and attentive, too! My parents both had the smoked pull pork platter, which comes with your choice of two sides and cornbread. My parents chose the delicious baked beans and perfectly fried okra. My dad isn't the easiest to please and even he volunteered his seal of approval. ✔ My aunt ordered The Knife & Fork plate: cornbread on bottom, topped with smoked pulled pork & bold bbq sauce, cheese, and more cornbread with a side of sweet potato fries. Delectable! ? And I had the wood smoked pulled chicken. For sides I chose their simple, yet wonderfully delicious apple slaw & some of THE BEST collard greens I've ever eaten in my life! Oh, and don't forget that piece of cornbread that comes with it and just puts the icing on the cake. So good!

My family and I are from Maine and recently visited Hendersonville, NC.Our hotel highly recommended flat rock wood room for dinner. We had to make reservations as this restaurant is extremely popular and busy. The, staff was very cooperative and squeezed us in. When we arrived sure enough they were full of very happy customers. My daughter loves buffalo wings and was going to purchase them however our server highly recommended the wood fired buffalo pizza. We ordered three pizzas. An heirloom tomato a wild mushroom brisket pizza and a buffalo pizza. WE WERE BLOWN AWAY BY ALL 3.My 15 year old daughter watched them fire all the pizzas and the chefs were very friendly making sure she could see the entire process. The buffalo pizza was the best of all 3 it had an incredible flavor. We all had their fresh house made strawberry pie dessert to die for.we most definitely will be returning before we go home.Check this place out we have heard their BBQ is incredible as well

Was excited to try this place. We got there before they opened. As we arrived so did another 10 to 12 more. Good sign. First of all the sign says wait to be seated and everyone is standing on the front porch waiting., and it was crowded as it is narrow on the porch. They seemed unorganized as there was about 5 employees standing around at the front desk not seating anyone. If I had had a great meal, none of this would have mattered. Review would have been good. Now for the experience inside. The waiter did a good job, no complaints. She recommended the Brisket plate, so that is what I ordered. I expected really good brisket. It was really dry. Brisket normally has some fat to make it moist, also the two side were very small but tasty. Oh well, $19.00 for dry meat. My wife's sandwich was pretty good as she had a vegetable panni with prosciutto added. Flat Rock Wood Room did not impress me. Not sure I would try them again. Maybe just a bad day at the smoker.
