As others have said staff was rude and the food was probably the worst in a buffet around hendo/asheville. I recommend avoiding this place and going somewhere else.
Not a great deal of variety compared with some other Chinese buffets in the region, but food is fresh and there is plenty of it.
Food was glazed over and shriveled up from sitting out so long. Also some items were completely gone and not refilled.
Me and Bill go there sometimes to to dine. The food of course is great and I'm basing that on my own experience. I know you see people who complain certain things are not cooked right but I'm not speaking for them I'm only speaking about my own experience. Perhaps at other times some of the food is not great. We generally go around 3:00 p.m..The sweet and sour chicken as well as the other chicken items are usually made just right.Of course the pepper steak is fantastic as well.You won't have to fight a crowd, most of the time there's usually a small amount of people. To go is better than dine-in. It's not great, but It's not super bad either. Just bland. I would give them another shot, but don't expect much.
I almost always order Hot and Sour Soup, Spring Rolls, Cashew Nut Chicken (with extra Onions and Water Chestnuts), and extra orders of their sticky White Rice.I have to say their food is always extra hot by the time I arrive home 2.8 miles away. The ingredients are fresh and plentiful with tons of Cashews in my order.Always a satisfied customer when frequenting this restaurant!!
I love Chinese food and these were some of the best flavored dishes I've had, buffet or otherwise. They even had coconut chicken, which I haven't seen on a buffet in over a decade.
Mediocre at best.Food not always hot, dried out.They try, but it's just not great.We went both during peak times and before/after peak times, to give them a good chance, but sadly, each time was a disappointment.
First the server wasn’t very friendly, ignored us most of the time, I put a little of each food on my place, good thing, rice was okay rest was old, horrible food and service, I left $20 on the table as I asked to speak to the manager 3 times was ignored, the bill came to $19 and some change, they can fight over the 70 odd cents. and told the young lady No manager came to talk to me or my friend, and I left $20 dollars on the table and again told her that the food was awful as well as just warm not hot, totally disgusted, plus I forgot my cane, I was so angry!! I may go back tomorrow for it, as I need it, senior lady low income too, brain damage as well!!Don’t waste your time going there, I didn’t even see them talk to other customers. SO RUDE!!!
Excellent Buffett. Fresh ground hot mustard. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal there Great price as well. Highly recommend
