This charming tea shop was a delightful interlude during a busy day of touring of in Hendersonville and Flat Rock. Kym, the owner, shared that her interest in teas developed during her girlhood when she helped her grandmother organize church teas. In addition to a wide assortment of teas (try the Pear), Kym serves a tiered dessert tray of finger sandwiches, strawberries, desserts, jam, lemon curd, and scones. Each one delicious. The teas and scone mix are available for purchase. A lovely, lovely afternoon.
Our afternoon tea was phenomenal. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and she does a stellar job of serving an authentic tea for a very reasonable price. We have been to high tea in England and fine establishments in the US. This ranks among the best! There is a wide variety of teas with some unique and delicious blends. We enjoyed the Cottage Blend black tea with orange and cranberry. There was a nice variety of finger sandwiches, delicious scones with lemon curd and jam, and nice pastries for dessert. We loved the macarons and cheesecake. This is an experience not to be missed!
RUDE! I wish I could leave ZERO stars. DO NOT support this business. Owner/whoever answers the phone was so rude to my friend. My friend, who has a severely limited diet due to health concerns, called and said she was coming with our group, but wanted to know if she could just order tea by itself (because even with food allergy accommodations there’s nothing that she could eat.) Lady on the phone, in a rude sassy tone, talked about how that would be such an inconvenience to her and her business because and made my friend feel so terrible that she would be technically “losing money on her”. She scoffed at her when my friend apologized for the inconvenience.That may be true about losing money (bcs one customer can’t buy the whole experience), but you do not say that to your customers. That is extremely unprofessional!I called her and told her that we are canceling our reservation, that I will be writing a poor review for her, and I did not even receive an apology or anything that a business would normally do to make it up to a customer who had a bad experience. Apparently I called after hours and thus received a very rude tone from her right off the start. No apology. No trying to help our situation.
This is such a cute little tearoom! The scones were delicious and we had a great time chatting with the owner. I will definitely be coming back!
We had so much fun! I bought my granddaughter here for a tea party for her 5 th birthday. She and I had an amazing time. The food and tea was delicious.
My wife and her friends had a reservation to go to this place, but the owner was extremely rude to both my wife and her one friend who dietary needs. They ended up canceling because they were treated very unprofessionally.

Had a lovely tea with my mom and sister. The food was delicious and plentiful. There are many teas to choose from. Small store and tea room, but very well decorated and cozy. The owner was running things by herself with a full schedule due to a call out. It’s was a little leisurely because of this, but none of us were in a hurry… as you shouldn’t be with a treat like this. The scones were the best I’ve ever had!
