Our waiter was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is posh, and the mixed drinks are yummy. My steak frite was topped only by the dessert
Starlight is our favorite place to go for a fancier date! The wait staff and chef are always accommodating with our vegan diet, but if you are vegan you will likely only have one option. Food is delicious, cocktail specials are always awesome, and we love the Belgian frites. Highly recommend!
Fantastic! Highly recommend a date night here. Service was great and the food was amazing. My wife and I are very well traveled and we both agreed their oil with the pre-meal bread is the best we've ever had!
There was a misunderstanding about our reservation which I wrote about it here. The manager, Kelly, called me this morning and apologized about the reservation and fixed everything. And OMG, such a wonderful food and service. I cannot even begin to describe what a wonderful experience it was. Definitely recommended.
If you’re ever in Greenville, come for the cocktails and stay for the food. Our night started off with a WOW! with our drinks. I had the drink special - a blood orange old fashioned and my hubby got the Manhattan Montenegro. Both fantastic and tasted like two.Unfortunately we were in desperate need of comfort food so our meal selection was more limited but not at all disappointing. We started with the oysters Rockefeller and finished with the burger. The oysters were super fresh, including the spinach. If I had to be critical I would say that the spinach overwhelmed the oyster, but the flavor was still good.The burger was lick-your-fingers delish. I have to say , the apple compote really made it. The owner described it as “upscale ketchup” and just added a certain je ne sais quoi that really put this burger over the top. Again, if I have to be critical, I would say the fries were a little limp, but it wouldn’t keep me from coming back to this little gem. A farm to table restaurant that actually owns their own farm? Definitely worth the try. Thanks to our waitress Sophie who guided us along our comfort food experience.
Starlight Cafe and Farm is a great local spot that provides a great ambience and great food. Their tapas trio is great to start and the steak is always on point. As stated the ambience is perfect for all occasions including date night or big groups. Their cocktails are delicious as well but I must say the ice they use really kills the attention to detail. Though this place is one of my favourites in Greenville the last couple times I’ve been the service, though polite, has been slow and it took me an hour to get my first drink so long that I had already had finished my appetizers! Still highly recommended!
My husband and I went here for our anniversary dinner— we were so impressed with our food! I got the vegetarian risotto and he got the shrimp and grits— both were to die for! Highly recommend this restaurant for date night

A very nice experience. The restaurant decor was warm and welcoming. I had the Shrimp & Grits and they were very good. My wife’s New York Strip Steak was well-cooked, tender & delicious. Unfortunately, her French Fries were soggy and tasted like fish. Otherwise, it was a great meal. Service was friendly and very good. We will definitely go again.
