Fast service. Decent Mexican food (way better than taco bell) fresh chips on the table. They were the highlight. I live on an island so this was my first sit down restaurant dinner in like a year. It is what I would call 'corporate Mexican' food. Competent but not great but to be fair I used to live in California so I am spoiled. Our waitress was quick but we ate early so the place was fairly empty. I will be going to Greenville more often for a friend's cancer treatment so I hope to do more reviews. Recommended.
This place USED to be the best in Greenville..sadly it has declined over the years. Prices not worth the sanitation score (91 and since they have a manager with ServeSafe certification, that score includes a 2point bonus for it so really their score is an 89) or possible food poisoning. Upon seating our table wouldn't even stay put from the layer of grease on the floor, and standing up was a slipping hazard. Ordered a simple taco salad w/ ground beef and shredded chicken. Something told me to check under the mountain of lettuce. I'm glad I did... the only beef that was in there were two huge chunks of beef (almost like it was semi frozen or were burger patties that had been broken down )and when I cut into it both chunks were RAW (stomach was turning so I sent it away before I thought to snap a pic). Son ordered Enchiladas El Jefe lunch portion. One enchilada wasn't even rolled up and filled properly. Daughters kids menu chicken fingers were so rubbery she couldn't bite through them. The salad was comped, and our server was very polite. 3 stars given for service only.
My new favorite Mexican restaurant in Greenville. Excellent food and great customer service. Enchiladas bandera and chicken spinach enchiladas.
We went here as a family. We are from Texas and are always on the hunt for Tex Mex! This place did not disappoint. Food was excellent and service was as well. Make sure to order the queso you won’t regret it.
Mother’s Day weekend me and my party of 12 ate dinner here and we all except the 2 kids that got chicken fingers with fries got sick with food poisoning. We spent over $300 and I called Tuesday to inform the manager about this situation and all she said was “oh my”. She then told me that the store manager would contact me to follow up and he didn’t. The whole situation was bad and the way the situation wasn’t addressed was a disappointment. We definitely don’t recommend eating here!
Friendly waitress she should have had help with having two large groups, she really couldn't attend to everyones needs. My birthday party group was there way before the second group and that was too much one waitress and my drank socks I paid an alcoholic drink and received a milk shake that what it taste like no rum was in that at all.

We love the table side guacamole!! The quality of the food and service is excellent. Portion sizes are very generous and we have new had a bad meal.
This was out first visit to Plaza Azteca. We were immediately seated and greeted by our server. The food was hot and came out fast. We will definitely be back for another visit.
My first time eating here in years and I was impressed! Brought my oldest son out for his birthday. Our server was amazing. We left her a $60 tip on a $90 tab if that tells you. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thanks Azteca!❤️?
