I ordered barbecue sandwich with slaw. There was at least 1/3 of pound of barbecue on it it just the right amount of slaw. It hit the spot. I also ordered the macaroni and chest and it tasted home made.
The food was decent, The fried chicken was cooked good it just lacked a lot of flavor. My son had the chicken tenders and he really enjoyed them. All the sides were just ok didn't have much flavor needed to add salt and pepper and quite a bit of Texas Pete hot sauce. I would have it again but it wouldn't be my first choice for Chicken.
As a splurge day, I normally treat my family to a Parker's #3 meal at least once a week, normally on Friday or Saturday. I just love the family feel! As a regular, I've learned some of the staff by name and it is a great feeling to go to a place where the staff is professional and so incredibly friendly. I know that we are in a time where places are short staffed and I can understand the frustration that can cause, not to mention some of the incredibly rude customers that the staff may have to tolerate. And sometimes you may just have something personal that you're dealing with but you still have to show up to work. The staff at Parker's isn't exempt from any of this but I have never experienced a bad attitude or even sensed that someone was frustrated or in bad mood. No matter what may be going on behind the scenes, I have always been treated with respect and received great service. In the off chance that I've had a problem with my order, it has been rectified, immediately and that is a very rare occurrence.As far as the food goes, well, I eat there at least once a week, need I say more ?. When I have family come into town, especially when my parents were living, they have to have Parker's at some point during their visit. I am very pleased with the food and the service that I have received and I'm happy to be able to support a small, local business!
Good food and an alright price. They give you quite a lot, and their sweet tea is pretty good too. Their Barbeque is very fatty and nasty, so I recommend getting their fish or chicken instead.
Food is always Hot, fresh and delicious. Drive through is somewhat slow. Personal experience with person taking my order varies. Sometimes I get a friendly person and sometimes I get a person who clearly doesn't want to be there. I love Parkers food which is why I continue to go there. I frequently go to 2 of there locations in greenville
Went with 4 other friends tonight and had the absolute worst service we have ever had there. We all got family style and got only one round of food because we were completely and purposely ignored by our waiter. Who we never even got his name. Watched him serve his one other table rounds and rounds of food and drink while our stuff stayed empty. Him constantly passing near our table to hurry to the back room. We also didn’t get a few items we requested the first time even asking them a second time after trying for awhile to get our waiters attention. Restaurant was not in the least bit busy. Needless to say we will not be going back to support this business for a long time. The ladies up front were very nice so that was probably the best part. Very disappointing when we go and spend good money there and are very heavy tippers.

Love the fried chicken, barbecue, and plenty of sides to choose from. If you go, be sure to get some banana pudding for dessert!
they have some good food. most time they don't get orders wrongs but today when I went I ordered chicken livers and when I got hi.e I had chicken gizzards, wasn't happy about that.
Parker’s has been in Greenville for a very long time!Very good food!Nothing at all wrong with their food!It is delicious!!!!! Best chicken around!!!!Point being….. disappointing that one of their restaurants is Still no dine in.We have used the drive/thru a total of 8 times!!!Parker’s Owner’s….. we can tell that you are frustrated with a Situation….. but you really shouldn’t call customer’s reviews names, because it’s something you don’t want to hear!No one esp me is bashing Parker’s!!!!(According to an employee at the Greenville Blvd location you have 4 employees there? No one was insinuating putting the 4 people out of work. Maybe if you can’t/don’t/ won’t get the dining room open those 4 people can go to work at another location or the many many businesses looking for help, per you? Just a suggestion.)They are reviews!!! They are your customer’s opinions.They are Your customer reviews. This could go on and on…. I think you are missing the point of the dining room being closed at that location.
