The owner of this restaurant practically called me a liar and said I did not pay for my meal. You sir are liar. I not only paid for my meal but for 8 others even though we never ate a thing. My problem was, as I explained to you, was I had been in the hospital for a week with no food. I was hungry and wanted to eat. The doctors told me it may be awhile before I could eat solid food. After ordering I found I couldn't eat and my party said they would not eat if I couldn't. I asked for a tray to take home some food for later after I got feeling better. Your waitress and manager refused. I paid for it all. You are not a Christian as you pretend to be. I will pray for you, but never return.
I just ordered from here... GROSS... my shrimp and oysters are dry and rubbery... they look like the grease they were fried in was about 10 years old. Mac & cheese looks like it's been under the heat lamp all day. I wish it would let me post the picture I took so yall can see how this food looks... people, we got to do better, especially for the price you are charging.. I can't bring it back. I'm at work till 11pm and I ordered it with door dash.
NOT THE PARKERS I GREW UP ON IN WILSON .. I wanted to try the Parkers in Greenville to see if it matched the one in Wilson and boy it didn't.. The server was ok .. but the table behind us stayed dirty until we left.. maybe the Manager and the other 6 employees who were sitting around a table should have been cleaning instead of leaning .. The BBQ had a weird smoke taste , no sauce had been blended in , the fried chicken had a ONION powder taste although the skin was crisp. Brunswick stew was weak and COLD with canned corn overpowering the stew and taste , boiled potatoes were mushy and the cole slaw was tart and pale . Hushpuppies were cold as were the cornsticks.. I think they are trying to imitate B's and Skylight Inn and failed at both attempts . Only thing close was the sweet tea .. but who can screw up tea ? My recommendation is DON'T waste your time or money .. Even the dining area is old , dirty and dated .. I guess they've spent so much money on the other 2 new locations that the Flagship store is neglected.
From out of town and wanted a good bbq place. Found it. Staff was super friendly. Food came out quickly. Everything was delicious. Pulled pork was juicy and flavorful. All the sides were delicious. Definitely will be back while I'm here and may even order some online.
Let me tell you. Tired and coming off 10hr drive, customer service and a friendly smile goes a long way. I had questions on the banana pudding and the guy just gave it to me and said "let us know what you think". I haven't even tried a bite of the pork (to-go order) but the pudding is on point. I'll edit this if the food merits it, but the experience was what I needed as tired as I am.
Nice quiet affordable good southern BBQ place. Sit down and take out is available. Staff was helpful and upgraded my tea order to large when they initially forgot to bring it which is appreciated. Would definitely come again here.
Food was really good, as always. The best sweet tea. And last, but not least, our server, Brandon was awesome. We will be remembering his name!
Pre-ordered food for 20 people and they did not disappoint. The barbecue was delicious. The grilled chicken was also delicious and we preferred it over the fried chicken. If you like spicy and flavorful, the grilled chicken is the way to go. I will definitely be back. The staff even helped me load the food in my car.
You don't grow up in Greenville NC and not know about Parker's. Let me tell you, I have never been to Parker's and had a bad experience, ever. Chicken, Barbecue, Brunswick stew, sweet tea that is out of this world, Hey, don't forget to get a DOUBLE order of cornbread sticks, they are Phenomenal. Thanks, Parker's, you're the best.
As being born and bred on Parker's Barbecue I have to say my experience yesterday at this restaurant was horrible. My wife and myself always get the family style meal. We did notice that the prices have gone up but was reasonable. The food was good as always, but and that is where everything went south. First I went to the restroom and I guess someone sprayed pepper spray or something in there. After multiple customer's started to complian, they finally took action. At no time did any employee check on the health of the guest. My nose was on fire and I could not breathe. Now to the second issue. We go up to pay and when the cashier gives me the total, it doesn't sound correct. We were then told that the price of family style went up to like $17 per person. I told the cashier that was not what the menu stated and I wasn't going to pay the difference. A manager was called over and the situation was explained to her. Her response was that she could not change the price only the owner could and he was not there. REALLY??? So she finally starts checking into our ticket. Just to find out the problem was the cashier had charged us with drinks when we drank water. After all that all the cashier could say was "My bad". No one ever appolized to us for the mix up.
