I expected to get and old fashioned burger like I saw on their website but what I got was a frozen processed burger patty made with some beef and filler. The “hand cut” fries were hot but also very limp and the paper bag was loaded with grease. The best thing I had was the fountain drink. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was really clean. If they would sell the burgers they advertise it might have been worth the $13, but I don’t think I’ll take that chance to find out. Shame, I was really excited about eating from there. Would have been better off going to Five Guys and r Wendy’s.
The employees working here are very friendly. The restaurant has a unique way of ordering where you order on a piece of paper when you walk in so be prepared for that. I went here once last summer and had a burger and fries so this time I switched it up and got the grilled chicken sandwich. The chicken came out very tender and juicy which doesn't always happen when you get it grilled. The side salad seemed very fresh and was delicious as well. I wouldn't be afraid to try something different on the menu the next time I go. Have not been disappointed yet!
They live up to their sign. They do make the best burger in Greenville. Each burger is custom and comes with fries and a drink. Great deal.
Great food, simple menu. Was disappointed in the chicken sandwich, tasted good but was a very small piece of meat. Also wish you could order just a burger without a side and a drink. But definitely will return for another burger!
We tried it for the first time last night. The restaurant was thoroughly clean and the staff was working hard and polite. In regards to the food we left disappointed. Probably more from our preferences than anything they did wrong. The fries are the dark brown “motor oil” style. They were seasoned very heavily with their salty lemon pepper seasoning. We all had burgers and on each one the burger patties and buns were dry. They would benefit from a fattier beef blend and either steaming or buttering the buns. Complimentary toppings are the basic burger vegetables. Chili, bacon, and mushrooms are available for extra charge. The burger was seasoned pretty heavily with the same seasoning as the fries. If you love, like really love, lemon pepper then PTs is your place.
Best fries in town. Burger always fresh, hot and seasoned perfectly. Just about the best burger in Greenville
The roast beef sandwich was amazing. I didn't know how the mayo was going to taste with it because everyone makes their's different, but it was just right. I only wish I asked for extra pickles lol not because there isn't enough but because they are so good rylie my server was great she helped me understand how to order fairly easy with a smile and made sure I didn't need anything while dining in Jackson the cook I wish I could hug because the cook on everything was amazing this was my first time here and it was a great experience keep up the great work
They had great food!! My best friend is allergic to garlic and the cook took it upon his self to make sure that it had no garlic on none of her stuff. I'm so thankful for people who are thoughtful to make sure that they're customers get what they need!!!
It was great to see what they did with this location. I grew up eating at the Pizza Inn that previously resided here and had many great memories, so it was sad seeing the Pizza Inn decline and finally shut down. PT's is clean, open and while there is not much in terms of decor, what is there is nicely done. The staff and manager were very friendly and helpful for first time guest trying to figure out the ordering method. One thing that I did like about PT's was that pretty much everything comes with fries (or a side salad) and a drink. I ordered the PT's burger which was served quickly and hot off the grill. The fries were hot and crispy with a nice specialty seasoning. My wife had the grilled chicken salad which was a fairly large salad topped with grilled chicken. Both the burger and the grilled chicken salad had good flavor. Prices were maybe a touch high, but not too bad. Definitely a place we will be back to!
Very good food! But has a lot of competition in Greenville. Unlike the Goldsboro location, which I frequent often, the Greenville location seemed empty and quiet. I understand they are newly opened, but the atmosphere just wasn't quite the same. The staff was friendly, the food was top notch, and their ordering system is simple and fast (like other PT's). I really hope they can catch on and compete with the other local burger joints and become a staple like they have in Wilmington and Goldsboro.
