Food was beautiful hospitality was beautiful

Bread was delicious. Waitress was very friendly. Luckily I had already received my food when I noticed the cook with the black hat and glasses was chewing gum which is a physical contaminate in food service because it could have easily fallen out of his mouth. As I am noticing this the cook beside him that’s wearing a hat takes his hat off scratches his head and continues to prepare food without washing his hands or putting on gloves. Had I not already received my food I probably would have just walked out.

Great Italian restaurant for Greenville NC. Always enjoyable.

Anniversary!

My family and I drove an hour to experience this restaurant for the first time. The day before we were told we were not allowed to make a reservation for an unknown reason, but they said the patio is first come first serve. The day we were to meet, we called ahead of time to see if the patio was a long wait. The hostess told us there was a party of 8 currently eating and would be our table next since we were a party of 8 and it would probably be around a 30 minute wait. When we arrived to put our name in we were told it would be a 3 hour wait. As we seemed confused, the manager, Jamie came up and we explained the situation. Jamie couldn’t give us an explanation and kept talking in circles saying “you don’t have to eat here.” I want to be clear, we weren’t rude. Jamie actually proceeded to say “ Every customer thinks they’re special, but you’re not better than anyone else here” and said again about 10 more times “you don’t have to eat here.” Needless to say we were baffled, all we were trying to do was simply put our name down at a restaurant and were treated so unkindly from the manager, Jamie. The owner however was very apologetic and offered us drinks but we didn’t want to eat there after that because of the manager Jamie.

Perfect! We made a reservation and were seated quickly. Ninos patio is a beautiful. I wanted to order something that I previously ate and couldn't remember the name of it the waitress was spot on in helping me find the dish, even with my poor description of it ?. Abby was a fantastic help. Our order came to the table in a timely manner and was delicious. We had an awesome experience. ?

The service was outstanding, the outside view was a great add to the occasion. The meal was Lasagna ❤️

Pretty sure I rated them before but it's worth another five star anyway. Friends of ours introduced us to Ninos 2 years ago (they are personal friends with the owner) and now we drive from Wilson to Greenville specifically for Nino's when we want to go out and have an authentic Italian meal. Beautiful place tucked in a nondescript plaza with great staff and just the most amazing handmade pasta and dishes. Large enough menu that everyone finds something to make them happy with daily specials that usually have something intriguing. Full bar with some seating makes outstanding cocktails from classics to their own specialty drinks. With the nice weather the outdoor seating area almost doubles the capacity and makes for nice ambiance dining alfresco. If you haven't made the trip, highly recommended.

Traveling with a pet can be difficult, especially at meal time. Nino’s welcomes well behaved canine family members outdoors on the beautiful covered patio. We were promptly greeted and seated. The service was outstanding. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Carbonara and I had the Shrimp Carbonara. Both were outstanding and paired perfectly with the recommended Sangiovese. The portions were more than adequate so dessert was not an option for us. We’ll definitely be goin back to Nino’s.

This Italian restaurant is amazing! The ambiance and food were good. It’s a hidden gem in an area full of fast food and chain restaurants. The drinks are good, the presentation are good and the food is delicious. If you ever find yourself in Greenville NC please visit this place. You will not be disappointed.
