may 9. 2022 i go in about 4pm. i was tolerant of my sub at this place about a year ago. i haven’t been here in a few months so i order the same thing. steak and mushroom sub with tomato lettuce (and they say. cooked onions). what i got looked like a tube about 1.5. inches in diameter oh i may be unfair so 1 3/4 in diameter. i don’t think it was 2”. and to be fair it might have been 11” long. wrapped in paper cut in half. it was made with a minimalist approach to sub making. i opened the poor thing up. i spotted what looked like a mushroom. very small. this sub had been made where. it was hard to distinguish any kind of stacking of food items. everything inside was conglomerated and made to use the least filling possible. of what you’d expect. normally i like this place. the athenian chicken on tuesday. was outstanding. in the past. but it is a no go on this. i complained. she gave me some free fries.
Quería cute little place. Owners run the place and are very friendly. Food is good and we’ll priced.Music is different, but it’s entertaining. It keeps you listening to know what’s up next, very boradwayish, probably a coincidence.
The food is pretty good, but today was horrible. Only person in the establishment and I was waiting for 30 minutes for the food. I could understand if it was busy, but if you're the only person in the place it should not take this long. Either find a way to keep up your orders or get some staff who knows what they're doing. If you're looking for something quick do not go here. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk ?
The food it great, but the customer service is awful. The lady working at the counter did not acknowledge us for 10 minutes, then just stared at us to order. I had to ask, “are you ready to take my order?” And she shook her head. She should be fired.
Excellent meal! Chicken Kebab and the Tatsiki were Awesome! Best Baklava in town. Very happy!!!
I love the food at marathon but the people are so frustrating. I placed an order over the phone at 7:30pm 2 sandwiches, I drive 30 minutes back home and realize it was completely wrong. I had to call 8 times to get someone to answer the phone by the time they answered it was 8:25 and it would have taken 30 min to drive back there and they would have been closed. On the phone i was told i could talk to the manager in the morning but offered no solutions for tonight. I am disappointed.
Good food, slow service. Supply problems have eliminated some of their best dishes. Can't wait for that to change and the full menu to return.
Have been eating at Marathon for 30~ years. More often than not I get their steak & cheese. Haven't found anything to equal it.
Excellent home cooking. Will continue to eat here.
This place has it all and the food is fantastic.I would 100% recommend the gyro but in all seriousness I've been here about 9 times and so far everything was delicious.
