Was excited to try Harvey's. Saw it on the news and was looking forward to it. Was very disappointed. Must of been a bad day. They seemed short handed and the sign on the door said not taking to go orders. It took forever for our food. The food was burnt but hot. The cook looked frazzled and kept asking for help. The waitress told us 3 times she was bringing our toast. Watched her go behind the counter and got distracted again. I finally told her we didn't want the toast anymore because we were done eating the burnt food. Yes she took the coffee off out bill to cover the toast but it was a disaster. As of now I am not sure I will go back but husband thinks we should give it another try maybe during the week not on a Saturday. We will see..
In town to attend relatives college graduation. Decided to try this restaurant rather than the Denny's across the street. Excellent choice!!! Food was hot and delicious. My wife and I felt as if we're eating a home cooked meal!!! Service was great. Overall, a very positive experience.
Busy. But the food was great. Was not a fan of the smoked sausage but that is only because I don't like it deep fried. Not sure what type of coffee they have but it was the best I have ever had from a diner. For only having one cook and a packed house food came out pretty fast. Will definitely go back.
Have been here several times while working out in Greenville. I am very happy with the food, The staff is so pleasant. The wait for a table sometimes can be long but it is worth the wait. Glad I found my Breakfast spot when On the road.
Just had the most wonderful breakfast there this morning, Wed. 2/23/22. Deb had bacon, eggs & hash browns, I had the French toast breakfast. Our waitress, Kimberly Speicher was amazing & their Chef cooked our eggs & bacon to perfection. Harvey's was recommended by Ty @ the VA clinic in Greenville & he was right. Everything was excellent including the coffee & Kimberly kept our mugs full. The staff AND customers were all friendly people. I'm full as a fat baby's diaper & looking forward to going back real soon. Thank you all. Bud & Debbie from Wilson. 2nd visit/ Wed. 4/13/22. Another great breakfast today. If you can get Brandi's table, do so. She is just fantastic. Also, the place is full of Veterans. 2 thumbs up for Harvey's & Brandi.
They were busy, but the food was great, service was great, overall good experience. I shall try them again later.
I recommend- the food, the atmosphere, the people- all the people - the staff and guests … my visit there brought a sense of comfort in every way.
