Yes, Five Guys is expensive. $5.00 is much for a hotdog. $9.00 is much for a burger, and $5.00 is much for small fry. BUT! The food is excellent. The five-dollar hot dog is the best I have tasted in NC! So as I ate it, I started planning for my next opportunity to come back. The burger is NOT the kind you can eat driving down the road. I took it home and used a knife and fork to eat. Man, it was good. The fries complement the meal. The place is very clean and the atmosphere is nice. Their prices match up nicely with the quality of their food

The burgers here are great! I like to get the Bacon Cheeseburger. If you really want to up the ante get your burger with grill cheese as the buns. It's a little expensive to do so, but it takes your burger experience to another level. They also have great fries. Always go with the Cajun ones and be ready they're going to give you a massive portion of fries.
The food is good but the prices are outrageous. $34 for two people that’s just not right. The wait time for food is also a bit long.

I cannot recommend Five Guys to anyone. The order taker at lunchtime charged me for one too many cups of fries. Bags of potatoes were blocking the path to the order window when they were supposed to be stacked on nearby racks instead. The dining room temperature was about 60 degrees inside. The wait time for our food was 15 minutes, and it wasn't busy. The burgers were good, the fries were charred, and the prices were all too high. This was my family's first and last visit.
Five Guys jacks up their menu prices on Doordash, Uber Eats, etc. Each menu items is $2-3 more on delivery service websites, despite additionally having a default delivery fee through those services.These are scummy business practices and inflates the cost of an order unnecessarily.Five Guys' pricing was already high (i.e. - $10 for a fast food burger), but now paying $12-13 for the same burger because you're ordering through a delivery service, which you'll have to pay an additional delivery fee for, is sheer profiteering during a pandemic.
