Pulled up to the drive thru and the lady immediately told me they were out of like all their fish / shrimp (atleast 5 or 6 types she listed off) I don't even know why y'all are open, nobody wants to fill up on a bunch of sides, just send your staff home and call it a day. Have never tried Captain D's before, probably never will now. Bad first impression. Also $3 for a pepsi? Get bent.
Manager Brittnay went above and beyond to help us. She was professional, polite, and friendly. Simply put, she is a beautiful woman with a kind heart. I hope her boss values her bc she's an asset to this company. At a time when manners seem to be in short supply, I did not find that to be true when we were there.I also want to mention The Cook. All of the food was cooked well, hot, tasted good, and neatly packaged.And, I can't leave out Samantha. She was also kind, professional, and polite. A friendly attitude when we interacted with her.The whole experience was pleasant.
It was ok for the price however the fish was heavily breaded so much so I couldn’t enjoy it. The devil crab was delicious it actually had more crab meat in it than I expected even though I think it was well seasoned imitation crab meat ??♀️the shrimp and hush puppies were pretty good also. Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. Overall it was ok for a fast food seafood restaurant.
Good afternoon,I had lunch today at the Greenville, NC location. I am a regular eating there normally 4+ times a month. The staff is always friendly and helpful and as usual the food was good: however I was very disturbed today to eat in the restaurant and the AC unit was not working. In other words it was hot and uncomfortable and to watch the staff sweating while trying to work was too much. I asked to speak to general management only to learn that they live in South Carolina. I don't know what needs to be done to streamline your management so that things can get done without such a distance, but I can tell you a life long resident of Greenville NC the quickest way to lose not only your staff but regular customers like myself is to leave things undone for a long period of time. I pray this issue be resolved or I might have to take business somewhere else along with the other customers that constantly recommend your store for!
What’s the purpose of having online ordering when you have to go through the drive thru to pick it up. So you order online and they give you a pick up time, only to sit in the drive thru for 30-40 mins and you get cold food. Why have online ordering when you have to sit in the drive thru anyways. Just order at the drive thru and get hot food. First and LAST time ordering!
Short on staff. Greasy hushpuppies, fish a little dry. Best coleslaw anywhere.
Horrible, tied to get food twice there this week and they had closed early. First time it was at 8pm and second was while we were waiting in the drive thru line with other cars, one’s ahead had ordered. Went to the door to speak to the manager and they claimed the owner cut everything off and closed the store from his house.
My sister and I ate at Captain D's, Greenville, NC today for lunch and could not be more pleased. Food was excellent and plentiful. Not too expensive which is always good. Around $12.00 each including tea. The restaurant was clean and looked in good repair. Staff (especially one lady) were friendly and very helpful. They get at least 5 stars from us!
Since the restaurant has had to shorten hours I have not been able to get my family’s usual 10 piece weekly dinner because I get off too late. Today was an exception and my family was excited to know we could have Captain D’s tonight. I ordered my food as usual but when I got home I was shorted my okra by 2-3 servings( We only got one container but we were charged for 4 servings ) and I got no hush puppies. We were so disappointed that we did not get what we paid for especially since I spent $ 36.06. I will say that the fish was delicious but we were definitely missing the okra and hush puppies that we love also. ?
My order was wrong and I repeated it twice. I got condiments I didn't ask for which is quite wasteful. The fish was absolutely delicious, I love their battered dipped fish. The corn was disgusting which I didn't ask for. I had ask for cole slaw and the fries were cold. The fish was very small pieces.
