Penne alla vodka sauce taste like mayonnaise. Whipped potatoes were mediocre. Portions are for children. Everything is bland and underseason.
The food was incredible! Although it was expensive, it was worth it to celebrate my fiancé’s graduation. We had a great time and a great waitress, Billie.
One of the best restaurants in town. Wonderful food and always a great service.
The food is great! The decor is simple but it’s a great place to come for a dinner date.
This was our first time here and it was outstanding! The wait staff was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent! I had the Chicken Firestiere which was so tender you could cut it with a fork and had tons of flavor. My wife had the Filet Mingon which was also very tender and full of flavor. Although the portions weren't large, they were adequate. This will definitely be a place that we return to!
Steak frites! add an egg!
Wonderful place to celebrate any occasion. Food was great. Ambiance great.
Unbelievable. 1st time visit and was looking forward to a great meal per the reviews I had read. Had reservation for 4 at 6:30. We arrived at 6:25 and were seated quickly. Server brought us water and told us the specials. 30 minutes later we left. Server never came back to even get our drink order. It was early and not very busy. You lost 4 customers tonight.
Cafe Duo is my favorite restaurant in Greenville. It is casual dining with a certain flair. The menu selections are many and all very tasty snd well prepared. I usually ho at dinner but gave done fun lunches there also with friends. The BLT is huge but the ciabatta bread is so light, you can finish easily. French fries are on the side. Had the pan-seared red snapper one night and it was the best fish I have ever eaten, truly. You cannot go wrong eating at Cafe Duo. Waitstaff are attentive and if you want to play baseball trivia, Patrick is the encyclopedia of baseball knowledge. You can not win. Fascinating treasure chest of knowledge. We always try to find something to trick him, but he is gooood. Go have a drink at the bar or a nice meal outside in warmer weather.
Cafe Duo is my favorite restaurant in Greenville. I often go in alone and sit at the bar and have dinner and a glass of wine. Patrick and Nate are always very welcoming. They are professional and very knowledgeable about wine. The food is always delicious. I have never been disappointed. Cafe Duo has a very nice atmosphere that is quiet with a great staff and delicious food!
