Food is excellent and the wait is not too long. Well worth the driving from Raleigh. True smoked Eastern North Carolina BBQ had its finest.
#1 BBQ in the area. A shack. No credit cards and no receipts, just a long line to order. Great eastern NC BBQ with the vinegar base. As of now, no indoor seating. Take your order in the window to go, or eat at their picnic tables. They sell until they run out. Apparently chicken goes really fast. Also very reasonably priced.
Was driving through town and saw a long line in front of this little hidden gem! Decided to stop and check out the excitement! Fried chicken sold out (bet that was yummy) but I was there for a BBQ Sandwich, which didn't disappoint and I added a few corn sticks! Heck Ya, perfect spot for lunch!
Best Eastern NC style BBQ in the entire state. Tangy bbq sauce, sweet slaw, whole pig bbq that is light in fat and full with flavor.
This is truly a hidden gym down in Greenville. I don’t get to come here often but when I do it’s just as delicious as the last.
Chopped pork barbecue East North Carolina style (vinegared, extra vinegar sauce, a little hot sauce) makes a great breakfast, so don’t chance their running out before lunchtime. They open at 9:00 and serve until nothing is left usually around lunch. The barbecue was succulent enhanced by a side of vinegar sauce. It was too chilly to sit at one of the two picnic tables outside, so we ate in the car. No indoor seating was available because of the pandemic, but the decrepit concrete block was so small it surely could not hold many tables in addition to the kitchen. The server and the waiting customers (yes, people were ordering at 9:15 AM when we got there) were friendly and helpful, one advising us on other local barbecues. A few sides were available, but why bother. Just have the perfect fine chopped pork.
Got a friend to grab me a combination plate today. The chicken is so over cooked/dry I can’t eat it. The barbecue is decent, slaw is too sweet. I’m not impressed at all. If you want really good barbecue try Johnny’s in Louisburg NC
Great Bar Be Cue! Wonderful hard working girls of 1 family! The entire staff, cooks & etc are also nice & pleasant! Oh, they know what they're doing also!
HI EVERYONE...B's Barbecue HAS THE BEST WHITE MEAT PLATES IN ALL OF GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA...THEIR POTATOES AND STREAM BEANS ARE OFF THE HOOK...COOKED TO PERFECTION...AND ITS ALL WORTH THE MONEY...AND I CAN SEE WHY THIS PLACE OF BUISNESS BE PACKED EVERY TIME THAT THEY ARE OPEN...PLUS I JUST LOVE THEIR PICNIC TABLE AREA...IN OTHER WORDS...I TRULY ENJOYED MYSELF WITH MY DAUGHTER TODAY!!?♥️?♥️?
What can I say? Not to cut down other great BBQ restaurants in the State but this is the absolute best NC BBQ you will ever eat. Even if it's a long drive for you to come here, it's well worth it. Just be sure to get here early as they sell out quickly.
