I came in and two people at the cash register ignored me to continue their conversation with the person infront of me who had already ordered. Stood there for several minutes with an annoyed look on my face before my order was taken. Then I saw how disgusting the back is. Get it together.
The staff was friendly. The only problem I had was I ordered a Detox Island Green and it tasted sweeter than normal. So I asked the lady why that was and she said she added some yogurt to my smoothie to make it creamy. Don’t know what made her add something to my smoothie without my permission. Luckily I’m not allergic to yogurt….
This use to be my favorite location when AJ was managing. I placed an order Saturday online around 8pm it went through with payment and all only for me to get there and they was closed. I tried to call on Sunday but no answer. I started calling at 8 am on Monday still no answer so I went up there on my lunch break. I explained to the manager what had happened, she said they refunded my money back and it should arrive in 3 days but she could still fix my order if I still wanted it. I said yes, she said its go be a minute then proceeds to take the guy behind me order. I asked her did she need my order again or did she already have it, she replied "I told you its go be a minute I have 10 ppl in front of you". Well ma'am why did you just take the guy behind me order instead of mines? As she is picking up food off the floor she just dropped, she states its only two of us and I just left out the door. The sanitation grade is a 90!!!

The WORST tropical smoothie cafe I’ve ever been to, they’re literally so rude for no reason. They’ll having you waiting forever when they choose to then be extremely rude whenever they decide to take your order. Never again
I love tropical smoothie but this location is the absolute WORST! They’re either out of everything or closed and the customer service is garbage. ?Today took the cake my smoothie wasn’t even blended all the way it’s like they just put the fruit and juice in the cup and sent it out. I would suggest if you want tropical smoothie to go to another location because this one is not going to be experience.
I want to start by saying that Tropical Smoothie used to be such an amazingly healthy treat that I looked forward to after workouts or long days at work. The Avocalado USED TO BE my absolute, hands down favorite. This location ruined it after I ordered it for the 2nd time. When I called to inform them that it was disgusting, I never got an answer. I went somewhere for dinner and called later that night and finally got an answer. When I spoke with the employee the person wasn’t sympathetic at all. I was asked if I wanted a refund and in my mind I only wanted what I paid for! After 2 months I gave this place its FINAL go round. This location is never available. I can never get anyone on the phone immediately to correct the HORRIBLE tasting smoothies I’ve gotten from here 2/3 times I’ve ordered delivery while at work. Secondly, I don’t know if recipes have changed or the workers just do not care anymore about the taste or quality of the smoothies but they are no longer good, watered down and no stiffness. I was told the location doesn’t have any food but I ordered online so how would I have known? This means that I paid for my food and DID NOT RECEIVE IT! I am livid. This is horrible and I do not recommend and will no longer be purchasing tropical smoothie anywhere at any location. They have ruined the brand for me with this store alone.
The smoothies are amazing. Just don’t call in your order because they never answer. You have to order online or on the door dash app. Most of the time they have things missing and the staff will see you standing there and don’t even acknowledge you. I keep going back because it is the closest one to me. But this last time I ordered online. I think it’s new staff… when I got there my order was ready for me and the ladies there said hi. I was sooooo shocked. Way to go TS for stepping up customer service. Because I got tired of cancelling my whole order because it was missing something or for poor customer service. I was so proud to have ordered yesterday! Since door dash wouldnt publish my review I decided to come here.
I enjoyed visiting this Tropical Smoothie. The ladies that made up the staff were nice, our food tasted fresh, and the service was timely. My favorite thing to get is the Island Detox! Instagram: lion_rose_music
