I will give these place two stars and that’s only because the service was decent and the place was clean . The food was horrible looks like they serve Walmart salmon frozen broccoli and homemade rice . The plate looked like something you could easily make at home absolutely no creativity and the worst part was that my wife’s mashed potatoes were drenched in butter . Will not be back there again!!!

I visited Tripps for the first time this past weekend and I had the most amazing experience. I was greeted by 3 friendly hostesses that were eager to help me. My server was informative, cheerful and happy! The atmosphere was busy, yet very organized. The food ? was timed perfectly and my filet ? was cooked to perfection. Hats off to the Greensboro Tripps staff and cooks. I’ll definitely be back!

Completely enjoyed the experience! The ambiance is great! Customer service was EXCELLENT!! #Ashley was my server and was super polite and gave me recommendations of drinks and dinner. I was there on $4 Margherita day #Izzy the bartender ?? did NOT disappoint! Shout out to the cooks in the back!! Thank you so much #Tripps for providing excellent service and great FRESH food! This out of towner will be back!! I highly recommend the spring rolls and the sweet chili glazed shrimp!!

Really nice place to eat, something on the menu for everyone. Good was great & staff very friendly.

A group five went here for dinner, was seated fast near the bar, our server was great, the food came fast and very good.

Went with 7 others for a Wednesday night Prime Rib and half price wine dinner. Not everyone got the prime rib but everyone, except 1, received their meal in a reasonable about of time. The 1 that had ordered prime rib - cooked medium did not receive her dinner for quite a while. I think about 15 minutes had passed when the server noticed she didn't have her food. Asked her what she ordered. Server returned around 10 minutes later with a piece of prime rib. When it was cut into it was well done. Again the server came over. I don't think she took the plate, but went, I guess to the kitchen. She came back and said they were out of prime rib. It is 6:45 on Prime Rib special night - and they are out of Prime Rib????? And our order was originally placed around 6:10. The server did offer to bring her something else - but by now it is a little too late. The manager never came to the table until he was called over. We believe he knew what had happened, but have no way to be certain of that. After talking to them he walked away with the check. He came back to the table with the check corrected - minus the Prime Rib. The person that was served the well done prime rib had not eaten it, but had cut it up to take home to the dog. The manager actually asked for the meat. His comment was "you can't have both" Once over the shock of his comment we all discussed what he was going to do with the meat -- throw it away? I know our server was slammed with customers and that the way a dish is prepared is not their fault. But this whole situation was handled very poorly. The customer should not have paid for the prime rib.. should have been allowed to take it -- it's no good to anyone else -- and they should have also given her a complimentary second glass of wine for having to wait -- or a free desert. In the past two months I believe this group has gone on Wednesday night at least 4 times. Sad to say, I don't think we will be back for some time..

Food was ok. Lettuce on my burger had a bad taste so I pulled it off. Wife's steak was way under cooked so it was sent back. Fries were soggy and it took around 40 minutes to get our food. We were in no rush so we where ok with it. Waitress did a great job. First time and prob our last. But I loved the cheesecake and it was huge.

Amazing service! Amazing food. The muffins and butter is everything!!! I typically get full off of that alone before my food even comes out! I get the same thing everytime because it's a hit (shrimp and scallop pasta). Would highly recommend to anyone. Great setting!

My son and I stayed next door at the Courtyard by Marriott in August and December after a long day of driving from NYC en route to Charleston. Being pretty tired I didn’t want to do any more driving and Tripps was across the parking lot. I was. Little skeptical because it looked like a typical T.G.I Fridays type of place but it was actually pretty good. Food was quite good, and it’s a great place to catch a game. But the best thing about this place is the waiter Eric. Such a nice guy and great server! We went back again on our way down South in December and my son left his earbuds on the table. They were closed when we left the next morning but held onto them for two weeks until we headed back North! We are heading back that way in a few weeks and we’ll be stopping by again.

Our Tripps in Durham was replace by a Kickback Jacks several years ago - bad decision. So we always try to find one when we are out of town. We were in Greensboro golfing and found the Tripps so had to stop by. Inside was just as I remembered them. Unfortunately my husbands favorite, NY Strip, was no longer on the menu so he had to go with the filet. Since I had snacked all day on the golf course I decided to just have a Caesar Salad. The server was excellent, very attentive, and everyone was masked. They also have complimentary bread and awesome dipping sauce. My salad was excellent and when I tasted my husbands filet it was very tasty and a perfectly cooked medium. Maybe one day Durham will bring back a Tripps so we won't have to leave town to find one.
