The food was cold and one of the orders had fish scales in the slaw. I placed the order over the phone and we went to pick up the order and had to reorder the order. Tides Inn used to serve high quality of food. However, they have slipped
I ordered a combination of Alaskan White fish and Calabash Shrimp and it was $23. When will you be able to pay with a credit or debit card again. The only upsize was that the food was hot.
The food is very good. I have been going to this restaurant for over 20yrs. The owner is very nice . Great service and food. Looking forward to coming back soon. Have my favorite seat ready by the kitchen door so I can look at the TV.
Take out just keeps getting worse. Over cooked, breading was thick, clumpy & terrible. Hush puppies weren't even good. Potato was hard & they didn't send slaw. Our last time. We've been saying that but this was it.
This is my 1st bad experience ordering from Tides Inn Steak and Seafood. My take out order was grilled salmon, fries, cold slaw and hush puppies. The problem was under cooked fries and salmon was spoiled with a very bad smell. I know the taste and smell of fish when it has gone bad. If I ate it I would have gotten very sick.
I enjoyed the sea food. It's hard to find great seafood anymore and especially being this far inland and away from the beach. I was pleasantly surprised by just how good my food really was. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. Thank you for going that extra mile to ensure that my food was hot, fresh, and served with a smile. Great Southern Charm goes a long way.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS RAGGDY RESTAURANT EVER!! We had to seat ourselves for one cause it was only 2 waitresses. The server never came over and said anything about our food. We had been sitting there for a hour. We notice that people that came in after us had gotten there food before us. We called the manager over and he tells us “we’ll be prepared to wait another hour cause ain’t nothing I can do” as if he didn’t care! The waitress was horrible. I use to love this place but I will never go back. I understand a lot of places are short staff but that’s not away to treat me people.
I enjoy Tides Inn. I only wish the could include the plastic Cuttery when asked for on take out orders. Also salad dressing when you order 4 salads and are willing to have any dressing but ranch. We need to communicate a little better. I take 50% of the mishap because I didn't check to be sure my order was complete before I left.Thank you Tides Inn
Nice size portions and friendly staff. I only saw 1 waitress with a mask on while serving food and pouring drinks. All others were serving and talking over tables, even owner was talking to guest without a mask on. Fish was a little over cooked but meal was still tasty
I ordered a combination with flounder the price was $27.99 plus tax. For one piece of fish and shrimp oysters hush puppies and baked potato. However, I was on my way to work and no one opened my plate to show me and no condiments. I called when I got to work and asked for a manager the manager pulled the ticket and transfer me to the owner. He was rude and disrespectful. And tried to rectify the mistake on their end with the cold food and the wrong fish and it was no baked potato but fries and no lid on the cole slaw. The presentation of the plate and the conversation was unacceptable and I contacted the better business bureau.
