The food is good the fight and the specials today Tuesday the tacos are great on Monday day of hamburgers mmm I recommend it
I frequently visit this establishment for a quick slice for lunch since they have decent prices for huge slices so I tried them for dinner a couple of nights and quickly found out that the day crew is totally different than the night shift. 2 occasions in particular come to mind with the most recent being last week. On the first I placed a to go order and had my husband grab it on his way home. The name was Andy and when my husband went to get the pizza the lady tried to give him an order for Andre. When he questioned the name and pointed out the difference the waitress replied, its close enough right? No its not. I would like to think race didn't play a role in her remark but unfortunately my husband, who is a black man, must have looked like an Andre to her. Minutes after this as he was about to leave with the wrong order due to the waitress refusing to believe my husband is named Andy the real Andre walked in and claimed his order. Apparently it had to be proven in order to be believed. Terrible treatment. On the second occasion I also called in a to go order and spoke with a female over the phone. In taking my order she was very snippy and was rushing me to hurry off the phone hanging up as I was asking to pay over the phone. I called back and asked to pay and was asked for my card number without a total. When I asked for a total I was told that it would be given after my card was ran. At this point I can't figure out why I'm getting attitude and being treated as if I'm a problem rather than a paying customer. I had to explain to the woman that I was using a visa gift card and needed the total to pay the balance from the gift card. After jumping through hoops just to pay over the phone the tone of the employee changed and she became a different person who was now friendly. Overall the food is pretty good which is why I keep coming back despite the incidents but I'm afraid the service has left a bad taste in our mouths. Why pay money to be treated poorly?
Advertised hours are until 11 online and on the door at the restaurant. Walked in at 10:15 and was told they were closed. Open sign still on in window and restaurant full of people. If you only serve until 10 pm, please change your hours to reflect that.
Great place downtown Greensboro. Excellent parking. Great prices for a large pizza. Great customer service. The food was totally delicious.
My daughter and I stumbled upon this place because we were nearby watching a softball game. Best stumble I've ever taken. The bartender was super friendly and the cook asked how I wanted my pizza cooked. Top 5 pizza I've ever had, and best pizzeria staff I've ever encountered!!
We visited for lunch on a Saturday in February. I'd love to see this place at dinner in July. Enjoyed the outside seating. Service was quite slow. LIT wasn't flavorful, at all. Pizza was good.
Food delicious. Served & made fresh. Friendly staff. I've been looking for a good pizza place & 1 that serves slices & The Corner Slice exceeded my expectations. Will be returning!
Some of the best pizza in Greensboro. The crab dip is a must have. The pita bread they serve with it is amazing 5 star service as well
So let me preface this by saying it is the 26th and not much was open. As an airline employee finding good food and service these past few months has been challenging. This place was open at 1100 am and there was only 1 cook and 1 bartender running the front, someone had called in sick etc.. However, She was amazing and although i could see she was stressed out and running behind she was polite and sincere. The southwest salad is standard fare but the chicken on it was juicy and delicious. The pizza though is beyond measure and this was the cooks first time doing it alone. All kudos to the 2 of you and Merry Christmas.
