Umm where do I start, 1: the collard greens aren’t homemade they taste just like the collard greens from the can by GLORY. 2. The Mac n cheese was not homemade either taste like box Mac n cheese with the bag cheese that’s already melted that comes in the box 3. They don’t give you a lot of food, they charge $15 for the pick 2 based on the portions they should charge $5. The fish was not good . The shrimp was decent. It taste like the shrimp u can purchase from your local store that’s already breaded and u just warm it up. None of the seafood taste as if its fresh . This was my first time eating here and my last. I am a seafood lover so I know how fresh seafood taste vs store brought. The only portion that was good was my French fries. This is a nice place to take a young child , they would love it!
I always pass this place and have wanted to try it, well today I was bold and tried it out!! I must say the establishment is very clean and the customer service is awesome. I ordered the combination plate with flounder, jumbo shrimp and fries. It wasn’t what I expected it to be, it was very much giving fast food seafood! For the price ($16), it wasn’t worth it!

This is the worst seafood in Greensboro. They batter too much and over fry it. The tarter sauce was gross and the slaw taste spoiled. Very overpriced for the portions as well. No Captain, that's not how we do it in NC. Just take that ride to Mayflower. Save yourself the ?. Only thing good about it was the sides. Fried corn is the only reason for me to return and that is it. My brother felt the same way. He said that wasn't it. Lol ?
My husband and I thought we would pick up some dinner to bring home from The Captains Table yesterday. We hadn't eaten there before so we asked a lot of questions about the different types of fish and also asked for recommendations. I decided to get the whiting and my husband ordered the cod. I then tried to use the lady's room and the door was locked. I asked the lady who took our order if I needed a key to use the bathroom and she told me that they were both out of order. I thought it was odd that my husband and I were the only two people in the restaurant and it seemed very clean, but both of their bathrooms were out of order. While we waited for our food a man came in and placed an order and asked if he could use the bathroom to wash his hands before his food came and they told him the same thing. My question is how do you serve food in a restaurant and not have an available bathroom????We finally got our food, and I was very disappointed as it was so greasy that I didn't even want to eat it. The coleslaw was about three bites, and the hushpuppies were overcooked, and grease soaked.I'm never going back there again.
Catfish was excellent! I look forward to trying the perch.
Pretty good food and the folks there are awesome! Strongly advise the shrimp and the blue raspberry lemonade!
Food was delivered hot. The popcorn shrimp is obviously not hand breaded or even seasoned as it is in the pic on their website. It’s the same frozen stuff you can buy at any grocery store for cheaper and it’s tasteless. Don’t waste your money. Fries are barely seasoned and a little soggy from the steam. The chicken was nice and hot with a good flavor. But not good enough to bring me back. I was disappointed because I’ve really been looking for popcorn shrimp. It’s a no for me
Great food, friendly staff, and the restaurant looked very clean! I will definitely be back! You can't go wrong dining here!
Amazing food and amazing staff. I cant say enough about the customer service and the quality of food. I will definitely visit again soon. We ordered the mix and match and a fish sandwich. Everything was awesome. Wish they had halal options for chicken. Would love to see that coming.I was going to take more pics but they suddenly got busy so hopefully next time.
