Seems to be only serving white families, we sat down to eat and no one spoke to us. The other white two families were welcomed by a waiter. There is no way we were no seen or heard we have a 10 month old babbling.
Great place to eat . They have barbecue that is sliced or chopped. You can get chicken or pork barbecue. You can get just sandwiches .We got 1 sliced and 1 chopped. They were awesome. We got just sandwiches and then deserts. They have great apple pie. I love it with soft serve ice cream. Restaurant is very clean and waitress are very friendly. We stop when we are in Greensboro and want BBQ. They have 2 locations this one on Battleground Ave. and another one near the coliseum in Greensboro.They also have a drive thru window too.
I have no clue how this place as 4.5. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is because the waitress was nice, the ranch was good and it was clean. The food was Luke warm and the BBQ was as dry as the Sahara desert. Definitely not returning. So disappointed!
Stameys catered for my wedding, and I cannot recommend them enough! The food was great, their prices are phenomenal, and their service was stellar! Will HIGHLY recommend to friends looking for caterers in the future.
This place is just awful. Two of us ordered basic plates of meat, slaw, and either fries or hush puppies. It was simply horrible, bland, food. The fries were probably frozen. Hushpuppies were dry and stale. Our meat was mushy and tasteless. Service was prompt and our waitress was very nice, but this is probably the worst food I have ever eaten.
Friendly folks, decent prices good pork and chicken.I wanted to like the slaw but just couldn't do it. They use red wine vinegar I think. It's a different take for sure.
Long time customer. Will not be back. Love the food. I've had the wrong order given to me on 7 or more occasions. I am very patient, and just want what I pay for. I want pork, not peach cobbler. When the manager, who I thought understood this issue, said "Oh my god" with an eye roll when i returned I with another wrong order...too much
Fast service, very clean all workers have gloves and mask on. Got the bbq plate.
Great family atmosphere and really good BBQ and desserts. Went in with some friends and my kids. Everyone got dessert. The staff/owner were super kind to our large table and we felt very well taken care of during our visit for lunch. Would definitely come back.
I had a bbq sandwich; it was ok. I like Country BBQ better and Prissy Polly's the best. Strawberry cobbler was really good. Our waitress, Faith, did not seem to be in best mood.
