You don't want to miss this, the breakfast was simply one of the best I have ever had. I have been here before but years ago and it was excellent then.
Me and my wife stumble on this lil gem by accident however the food was good and the service was quick nice place for a good lunch.
Great, great, great for a southern palate, and the service was very friendly as well. The greens were some of the best I've had since moving to NC and the cornbread was sweet and went well with the dish of friend pork chops. Lovely clean dining room and ambiance was diner feel, over great find. ?
Went there this morning and got a tray when I got home and was ready to eat my food I seen some blonde and shiny in my hash browns pulled out my flashlight it was a piece of hair, so when I called back up there to let them know I just picked my order up and I told them it was hair in my food all they said was we sorry about that. To many people behind the counter hair nets should be worn and then it was somebody working with a bonnet on I’m highly disappointed in the service that I got this morning
This place is wonderful. Very much a hole in the wall, but don’t let the exterior fool you. Food is fresh and great tasting, and very reasonably priced. The service is really what goes above and beyond. All the servers were kind and attentive, and genuinely made eating here a good experience. Next time I’m in Greensboro, I’ll be sure to visit again. Also, that cornbread was without a doubt, the best cornbread I’ve had at a restaurant.
Gosh, I have really missed Spring Valley Restaurant!!! The inside is now so light. They now have white painted bricks and ceramic tiles decor. And the food!! The food is just as good as I remembered. I really missed their vegetable plate but the flounder I saw on plates as I walked to my table caused me to change my mind. And I am so happy I did. I will be back again soon.
Favorite breakfast place in Greensboro hands down!!The food is awesome and the people are even more awesome!!If you've never been to Spring Valley, please go check it out!!
Good food, great waitresses, but, the prices have gone up, serving of grits in a very small bowl! Two eggs, sausage, hash browns, toast and a drink was over 10.00. That’s a bit much for breakfast.
Excellent food and service. Can't wait to go again.
Home cooking in a quaint little restaurant with a wonderful small town feel to it. I found this place by sheer luck and am so glad I did. The food and service were as good as anywhere you'll eat, but one standout item was the turnip greens. If you like greens, you absolutely must try this place out. Your taste buds will thank you. ?
