This my third time eating here the food is very good and tasty.We get the fried fish.
For $30+ I would think we would had have more food with our shrimp platters. It tasted ok, but I'll give it 3 stars bc the to go ladies were very pleasant! They remained calm as this lady tried to go off about the wait time...she was very .just rude and I'm shocked that they help their composure. Great customer service!
Food was hot. Portion size not worth the price. Plate is almost $20 and they charge extra for everything. Never been to restaurant where you feel like you have been nickel and dime for extra tartar sauce, salad dressing and salt and pepper for example… Website said they change . 25 cent each while carry out orders charge . 50 cent …just doesn’t make sense… I thought the goal was getting more customer’s not running them away.. won’t be eating here again…
The food and service was good. Hushpuppies the best! Just a little pricey. Need cheaper specials.
Absolutely the worst food. Awful service. Manager didn't even want to take the food we didn't eat off our bill. Will not be back.
The food was good however the young lady that answer the phone was rude. I spoke to the manager about this because it is US customers that keep the business afloat. The nice older black lady was the sweetest and just by interacting with her my attitude took a turn for the better. If your employees are having a bad day please send them home, it can rub your customers in the wrong way as it did me. Thanks to the older lady that helps with take out olders!
was very disappointed. First I was surprised to call a order in and was told it would take 7 minutes after I arrived. Then when we get there it changed to 10 minutes. So I expected my food to be hot and fresh. Everything I received was cold and rubbery. Not to mention mycocktail sauce was frozen..FROZEN!!I'm a firm believer that if you work hard for your money. You can choose were you spend it. I choose to never spend it at this Mayflower again. Winston-Salem location is always great!
Do not!!!!! come to this place!!!! I ordered five Captain specials close to $20 a piece and they were horrible everything was old and reheated. The Crab imperial was spoiled had to throw all of them away. Everything seemed overcooked recooked warmed up very bad I have never seen a restaurant that would give you this service. We threw everything away do not come to this place!
Always get great service and food here. Never been to a restaurant to get take out where they open the plates and show you each one before bagging it to go. Very great service, and best local seafood in town.
