Great people fun place good food
Me and my boyfriend have been going here since we moved to Greensboro last year. We ALWAYS ask for Juan, all of the servers are absolutely amazing, but he makes us feel right at home. It’s amazing to know I can come in and order anything and it will be delicious. Their home made sauces are on point! You guys have two loyal customers, I bring everyone I can here. I wish I had pictures but that’s the last thing we think about when those plates come out ?
Went there for dinner on 5/6/22 with my 2 small children. I ordered 2 adult plates to feed all three of us. When I received the check they charged me 4.00 for a shared plate. I paid over 25.00 for 2 plates of food and then got charged 4.00 more. I would never return to this place again.
We have had two great meals here. Drinks were good too!The third experience was a little disappointing. I guess it was definitely a different chef in the kitchen that day. We'll still go back. Overall a very good place and a great variety on the menu.
I never do NOT visit again… I will recommend another Mexican restaurant to my friends and community.Very very unkind red shirts women.And first time charging the habanero sauce for $2. That mean, if you visit pizza restaurant and order tobacco, that restaurant change the tobacco sause… this is same action. I am locality customer Rio, I visited this restaurant start new garden shopping mall area and move restaurant I follow.. recently…Very very unkind and very poor food quality.
Went with wife for dinner on a Fri night while in the area. Limited menu from what we are used to. My wife ended up just ordering a quesadilla that wasn't on the menu. (Which was usual quesadilla price plus adders for what she wanted on it.)Our order came out fairly quick, but a kitchen guy brought it out to us and our server didn't come to check to see if everything was to our liking or if we needed anything else. I was going to ask for hot sauce and my wife was going to place a to-go order for our kids. Our water was never refilled. I didn't bother with the hot sauce as we were 1/2 way done eating before our waiter came back by. We ordered our to go and he asked about desert (no) and then brought our check. We finished our meal and had to wait an extra 10 min sitting there while our to go order was made.They were kinda busy, but not too bad, our booth was in a main traffic area for servers and no one else even looked our way until time to check out. Our waiter would disappear or would be on the other side of the restaurant most of the time.You can pay by QR code if you don't want to wait on server. Since we had nothing else to do beside sit there and wait for our to go order, I paid normally.Next time we will try a different mexican restaurant in the area.
Our favorite Mexican restaurant in the GSO area! We drive from the Freeman Mill side of Greensboro to the New Garden location just so we get good food and service!Ask for Juan as your server, he’s probably our favorite! ?
Service is amazing! Food was priced great and huge portion! Frozen margaritas were strong! Great spot for big groups too!
We came here all the time. Literally about 2-3 times a week. We'd always have 4+ people and even bring family when they'd visit out of town. Chips and salsa were always unlimited and always delicious. But suddenly now, chips and salsa are limited to 5 a table. (What if I have 10 people?) Not to mention the bowls are only filled halfway. We used to never have any issues here, but lately have had many. Taco Tuesday is supposed to be $1.99 tacos with the purchase of a drink. 3 weeks in a row the change was shorted by $0.20. Sure $0.20 isn't a lot, but it adds up after 3 weeks of not getting it back. Something was said about it, and the waiter got an attitude. He brought back change with an attitude, which resulted in him getting a deserved $0.25 tip. We tip WELL. We always have, but you get tipped what you deserve. Treating loyal customers like that, is going to drive them all away. We've tried going back, in fact.. we went back yesterday The waiter was rude, slammed food and drinks down, and acted as if it was almost an issue to even serve us, and ended the meal with a smart remark thinking he was funny. It was rude, and not funny at all. This used to be our favorite restaurant, and place to coke to have a simple dinner. They let all their good staff go, and now have rude workers who short change you and act like you're in their way by being there. Biggest tip to give Rio, get your staff back on treating people right instead of goofing off. We used to come all the time, as often as we could. We will no longer be coming back.
The food was fine, however, our waiter(Miguel) was extremely rude. We waited 20 minutes with no service and then he came to the table with no introduction and asked for our drinks. Didn’t offer appetizers or anything else, just sat down the chips and salsa. It took awhile for him to come back to get our order and then took forever to bring our food. When we finally got our food, he never bothered to stop by the table to check on us or to see if we needed anything. We didn’t see him again until I waived him down and asked for the ticket. It seemed like every time he stopped at our table, he was annoyed with us. I normally never leave without tipping, but I refused to tip that type of service. Miguel is going to drive away your customers with that type of attitude.
