I ordered through Grubhub and on getting there the waiter refused to look up my order. It came through with my wifes initials and not the full name. He was rude and accusing me of stealing food. This has never been a problem before in the last 7 yrs. 3 weeks later I called in the order and the same waiter left out a dish. There is no manager to complain to and they obviously have a problem with takeout. When I called to resolve the issue all they do is talk over you, fortunately the "manager "on duty said they will take it off my bill but I wont see it till Monday Iam not holding my breath.
Excellent Italian restaurant. Linens on the tables and I was seated where I requested even though it was well away from other customers. The bread prior to the meal was well presented and the olive oil served in a saucer. The menu features a customize-your-own option and so I had Fettuccine Bolognese. The house Chianti was good enough. The meal was capped with a Sambuca and the server was savvy and knowledgeable enough to put the traditional three beans into it. Service was perfect: accommodating without being over present. I will return.
After an eventful day at the Greensboro Science Center, our family needed a quite, calm, and delicious place to eat. Pasitano was the perfect place. Food was absolutely incredible and the service was even better. Our server was so patient with our two year old. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back.
Call to make reservations. My family walked in during the winter around 6:00 pm and were sat at a side table from the entrance the second set of doors stayed open and when someone would walk in it was so cold. We asked to move to another table but we were told that they all were reserved for reservations. There were several tables open an hour an a half later and after we left never sat. In addition since there was no one else in the restaurant and we complained about wanting to move we could hear the woman we asked talking badly about us to our server when letting him know we were their table.Other than that horrible experience the food is alright, better than Elizabeth’s pizza and not one I crave to want to come back. Husband likes the linguini with white clam sauce, the salad is good.
It’s our first time here and we glad we tried bcoz this will be our favorite spot. The best italian food we ever had..Food was so fresh.Price are reasonable and the staff are great we had jeff as our waiter his awesome ?? Highly reccomend, me and my bae are so happy and happy tummies we definitely coming back…❤️ Positano deserves a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️????????
The very best spot in Greensboro to enjoy delicious authentic Italian cuisine. Their menu is diverse, with many old-world specialties, and lots of classics, to indulge the taste buds. There are also many vegetarian-friendly appetizers and entrees to choose from. They make the best eggplant parmigiana in the area, and their sauce is always very fresh and chunky - unlike that thin, runny pizzeria sauce with orange oily residue that's seemingly so popular, in this town. When dining in, the table is served a complimentary bottomless basket of full of freshly-made, warm Italian bread, along with a small bowl of warm olive oil with herbs. It's really such a great little touch that even occasionally factors into my choice to return, again. Positano's a sister restaurant in Asheboro, which is also just as great. Their parking lot typically has many available spaces, right in the front, very close to the door.
I made dinner plans with someone special to meet at positano at 8:30pm. Hours of operation said the restaurant would be open 11am-10pm. I get there 10min before my date and I’m told the restaurant is closed, based on volume. It was not a great feeling, scrambling to figure out where else we could meet. So, I’m not gonna choose to eat at this restaurant again due to consistency.
Excellent lunch. Had a birthday party for my son with his friends. Wait staff excellent. Food always good here. A family tradition.
Once again we had excellent food and superb service. With staffing shortages plaguing the industry, we had fantastic waiter, Matthew! Attentive, friendly and very personable!
We are new to Greensboro. My husband wanted something Italian and we soon found a number of restaurants were not open on Monday or Tuesday. We found Positano open Tuesday with good ratings and an enticing website photo of a white tablecloth dining room. We arrived to dark wood-topped tables in a restaurant dimly lit with just a few diners. We ordered veal scallopine marsala and chicken picatta. The veal had a thick sauce with a flour taste and walnuts, not customary. I later learned in reviewing the menu I was not served the correct entree but another higher priced with marsala. The chicken piccata also had a thick flour-tasting sauce rather than the usual lemon butter sauce. The waiter was very attentive and the wine by the glass was an ample pour.
