Disappointing visit. My husband and I went to Oakcrest for lunch today. Rather, we attempted to get lunch today. We walked in, seated ourselves as the sign directed. And waited. Two servers walked past us multiple times. They went to the back and seemed to look over the dining room, but never saw us. One stood there drinking a glass of tea as she glanced around. But no one seemed to recognize that anyone had walked in and taken a seat. We were the only people there that had no drinks, napkins, or silver - that should have been a pretty good indication that we needed service. We finally stood and made our way back to the door - and still no one spoke. Last chance to gain these steady customers.
Very good home style diner food! Lots of variety and great prices. The staff is very nice.

First time we are here the food was great, the waitress was definitely on Adderall. Showed up at 830pm for dinner another night and was turned away because they only do take out orders at that time apparently. They should make that known and put a sign on the door or something. Don't say you are open to 9 if you're not. Thanks!
This is a great restaurant for a family. Their prices are pretty decent and they have a wide variety of items. They serve breakfast up until 2:00 p.m. each day. They can get extremely busy on Sunday afternoons and spacing can be limited. Service is generally pretty good and the food is generally pretty good.
This was a last minute choice that I am very glad that was made. The food was awesome and service was fantastic. I'll definitely visit again.

The best food ever ? Really good really good
The food is good and satisfying. The prices are affordable there’s a variety of items on the menu. The atmosphere is conducive to a local home style diner. I always order takeout but see lots of older retirees dining inside the restaurant.
Food was over cooked. N prices was unclear chicken tenders for app was same price as the dinner. When I went to pay the cc machine was down after she tried to use my credit card for payment then asked if I can pay with cash. Thank goodness I had cash on me. I was unaware of these issues prior to getting my dinner. Also my appetizer came out with my dinner. Both was over cooked. So disappointing ?
