I had the turkey sandwich and chips and it also came with either soup or ice cream, of course I picked the ice cream LOL and everything good.
Wonderful!!! I drive from Fayetteville, NC to get those delicious hot dogs ?and special service with a smile from Ms. Carolyn and staff. Thank you for the same awesome service even though you are short staffed. Thanks a gazillion and may God continue to bless you always?
I am a glutton for punishment but I try to support. My son used to work at this location and we really try to patronize local business. Especially business in and around HBCU’s. So today we go in for 2 hand packed quarts, 1 hand packed pint and a double scoop (the Tuesday 2 Scoop is a good deal) but the cashier…left everything to be desired. First wear the mask on your nose and mouth or take it off if you are going to wear it inappropriately. Second service with a smile resonates in your voice. I dont know if it was because she was young, tired or just not interested in customer service. She was snappy and more interested in speaking to the lady scooping the ice cream than us. My son, Joseph, got me going to this location but I’ll just keep going to the one in Winston-Salem on special occasion point forward.
The service was great. Workers were kind. we went for shakes and the worker helped us get into the correct line to do so.
I was in this establishment this past Easter Sunday. The older black lady that work in this establishment is very rude she doesn’t greet you when you walk through the door but instead very rudely tell you that you need to walk around to get to the counter. There are no signs posted instructing you to do so. She talk to you with an attitude for no reason. I would not recommend eating here if you like to be treated with respect. The customer service there is horrible because of that women. Needless to say I didn’t order anything I left. When you think of ice cream shops you think happy experiences this was not a happy experience☹️
When you walk in all you here is “Walk Around” “You need a mask!”…I asked if I could call in orders or online, young lady says yes and NEVER answers the phone for my order ( I did this as a courtesy while a tracked a mask down) i finally found one, came back in the store and asked why she never answered, her response was “I had a line”… smh! Extremely rude abrupt staff, they can’t never keep any steady staff and I can see why! The food and ice cream is great if you can make it past the rude staff and slow service ! Prepare mentally… they should be reminded this is an ice cream shop “Smiles are free”
Great ice cream and the staff are very friendly. The older lady who served me was very polite. I'll definitely be back.
What an enjoyable lunch! The entire staff was so welcoming and friendly, I felt absolutely right at home, as if I were a "regular" of many years! The food was tasty too, typical Mayberry fare.Thank you so much for the great lunch and warm reception! ?
