Every time I come to visit my sister in Gboro she has to bring me. I get large turkey sub and side salad. My son loves the pepperoni pizza. So huge. I eat off my sub 2 times. It is definitely delicious. Staff is friendly and always clean inside. I will always go back.
This place is NOT good. Don't know why people think so. Their pizza just seamed low quality. I didn't enjoy it, my kids didn't like it either, and they like any pizza..... except this one. As a matter of fact I mentioned pizza the other day and they were like. "Not Mario's that place was gross!" Anyways, if you think this place is actually good, yikes ?
First, I would like to say I love all Mario's Pizza locations and their food are some of the best in the area. My wife and I went to this location on Sunday to wrap up my birthday weekend and wanted to dine in. Sat in the corner of the restaurant and we were bombarded by flies once our food was ready. Food was good but could not enjoy due to constantly swatting flies consistently to keep off of our meals. We immediately grabbed to go boxes and left to finish in our car. So unfortunate that we could not enjoy and hope they are able to correct this issue in the future.
On 3/19/22, for the second instance in a row, this restaurant did not get our order prepared. The young woman that took our order at 11:30 am stated that our “Greenhouse” pizza would be ready in twenty minutes. We arrived at 11:45 and she stated that they had just started making it because they received a very large order from another customer. We told her to cancel our order and left. On the previous occasion, apx. six months earlier, another, older young woman that took our order, never submitted the order to the kitchen !! We will not be using this restaurant again, very disappointing. Patrons beware…
Best NY Pizza in town! Fair warning- if you order on the weekends, it might be a while.
I’ve been a loyal customer of Mario’s Pizza since I discovered them several years ago. As of November 27th 2021 that will all change. Mario’s is nearly a 20 minute drive from where I live and they don’t deliver. I spent over $62.00 for pizza and appetizers only to discover I was given the wrong order when I got home. The order wasn’t even comparable to what I ordered. Understandable I was a little heated, but I kept my composure.I jumped back in my vehicle to return what was given. On the way I called the store to explain my situation. They agreed to correct my pizza order. I also asked for fresh appetizers for having to drive 20 minutes back to the store and another 20 minutes back home. The manager of the store refused. I explained that I was bringing the food back I needed a full refund. They refused to accept the food (standard practice for health reasons) and explained that I would have to go through the refund policy of the online service they use. Fine.I’ve been in customer service for over 20 years. I understand the importance of making things right to satisfy a customer when mistakes are made. That didn’t happen in my case. Therefore, I will never frequent that store again. Mario’s has good food that sells itself. However, customer service is what brings people back. At best, I may frequent their other stores if I’m in the area and in the mood. I will only be dining in as well. Therefore, this experience will make me and my family far less frequent patrons of this restaurant.
You people seriously need a DOORDASH SHELF like all the other restaurants have. I'm so tired of the long wait times working this place, whether the lines are long or not. Tonight was the last straw when your obscene, combative employee started hounding me down about "DID YOU WAIT IN LINE". There shouldn't BE a line for DOORDASH, especially when you have so little control over the wait situation for the patrons actually eating here. I've gone to the counter and shown people orders before, they usually just check on them and then I wait like everyone else. But tonight was enough- it's one thing to wait, it's another for some loud b**** to start shouting at me causing a scene. GET YOUR RESTAURANT TOGETHER.
Thicker than then then NYC in Manhattan and surroundings I am used to.Prices were fine, crust was too thick, sauce bland and the cheese seemed of quality on the lower end even after reheating at different intervals. The wings are ? but chicken prices are so high right now.I’ll def try some other things on the menu.
Best pizza in GSO, Five STARS but, this weekend 1 STAR: I made 4 attempts to buy and all failed. 1. Uber not accepting orders, 2. Off your website not accepting (early on Saturday evening 5:30pm) 3. Sunday in person, lines are so unorganized no one know what to do, people just standing in the way. Get some signage for people so they know if they're waiting for an order to get out of the way of those than need to place order. Even though it was not busy, I got frustrated and left. 4. Call in from the car (to avoid #3 issue) phone message and on hold advertisement is too much was left on hold too long hung up and went elsewhere.
This is a great eatery! We feel that this is the Mario's location that the others should be measured against. Great service and well prepared food of appropriate proportions. Friendly staff and timely service. Keep it up guys!
