Great food and service Mcoul’s never disappoints
Try the fish n chips.. steak and cheese is great as well as the lamb stew
Terrific southern cuisine, low lit Pub and great customer service. Priced very low for what you actually get, and a surpringly old R&B, Soulful Playlist. This was a "Plate Cleaner" for me.Thank you M'Coul's Public House
This is my second time coming here and I can literally say that the food is amazing but thedrinks made by Raven are absolutely incredible. You must have a Manhattan or her Old Fashioned. I love bourbon but her attention to detail on these 2 drinks are superb. The waitstaff are attentive and very friendly. If you are ever in Greensboro you have to make M'Coul's one of your stops.
3 couples came here twice in 24 hours. We ordered 10 different food items and they were all fantastic. Best server, ever, Abby. She made our short visit to Greensboro exceptionally wonderful. She is a gem. Plenty of beverage choices here. Conveniently located in the small downtown area. Just around the corner from the Biltmore Greensboro Hotel and within walking distance to Amtrack station. Outdoor and indoor seating. Clean restrooms. Prices are very good.
If I haven't already said it in a previous review I'll say it again. The stuff is always present, caring, and conscious of the customers' well-being. While I was there, they informed me and my company that they were short staff and due to that and some covid related stuff they were a bit overwhelmed with the large volume of customers that were in that night. I appreciate the money us know ahead of time and they consistently apologize until my company and I express that we understand the situation. We make sure to leave an extra tip for the servers and we hope that they are being paid a higher wage for the added work they do.I personally love how the restaurant gives credit to the servers, bartenders, and staff that make drinks that are on the specialty menu. It's really nice to know which one of the staff by name made your favorite drink so you could ask them specifically for their secrets.
My friend and I had brunch on a Sunday afternoon. There was a little wait but we hung out on the beautiful patio so it was fine. We both had the traditional which was a lot of food and delicious! The staff was attentive and friendly. The decor was great and I will definitely be back.
Great food. Best stew I've had in my life. The portions were a little less than I expected, but I was still mostly full at the end of it. Aesthetic of the venue was also a bit underwhelming. Would go again.
The Wait Staff! On the Irish Night of the Year, we had some of the best customer service. Irish Kindness!
Great Irish Pub in the heart of downtown Greensboro, located in a historic old building with a fascinating history. Cozy bar inside, with a pretty courtyard and rooftop dining options as well. The food and service was great--omg order the Guiness Meatloaf, you will not be sorry!
