Wow! First off this place is so cool. Secondly the churros, ice cream and popsicles were delicious. I do understand some people being upset as the price is a little misleading. It is almost like a base price and then depending which one you get depends on the extra cost. Again, it is an experience and you are paying a little extra for that. To me it was well worth it. Service was good, hot churros tasty and I loved my lime popsicle. We will be back!
Menu prices are serious bait and switch! This is extremely problematic. Don't trust the menu prices, ASK.I have a visual disability; it makes reading a behind-the-counter wall menu impossible if the font's too small. No biggie, I ask at the counter for a handheld menu, not my first rodeo. There's a QR code to scan - great! So explain how the huge menu on the door AND the QR code menu (remember, my only self-serve options with my disability) both list an item at $8, but I was charged $12? I literally paid $20 for a churro and a popsicle and when I questioned it, was told "Oh yeah, the menu is out of date." All of them? Your -online- menu, arguably the easiest to change, is out of date? And I have to find that out as the cashier is prompting for money? That is a -50%- increase over your advertised price, and that's really not ok.We were literally the only customers in there and we were given a reservations buzzer, like restaurants use. Took about ten minutes for churros and an already-made popsicle. Not ideal when the music is cranked to bafflingly loud volumes. This was my first visit here, and while I expected visual chaos and a lot of "theme" - that's why folks visit, right? That's the purpose of these over the top milkshakes, no shade. But from the moment I stepped in, it was very difficult to figure out how/what to order. I've worked in convention layout and customer experience design, and this was just bright, muddled, LOUD chaos that would be -immediately- overwhelming to anyone with sensitivities or anyone that's on the spectrum. I can't stress the LOUD enough, it was deafening and I'm a former goth club kid. I literally couldn't hear my husband sitting across the table and there were only 2 other people there. The churros were...well, couldn't really tell you, couldn't taste them. The messy pile of Nutella was...unique...until it got cloying 2 bites in. The strawberry dipping sauce was literally pie filling, the gelatinous type that comes in a can. The paleta was the only palatable part of the $20(!!) experience and it had a damn strawberry leaf frozen into it.Listen, I love the idea, but the execution? That needs to tag-team right out of the wrestling ring.
I’ve cream was good, NOT feeling this expired candy tho! ?
Everything on the pictures look amazing but once I took my first taste it was disappointing…the items are overly priced…the churros are like bricks very hard and stale…I was disappointed because I drove almost 4 hrs for such hyped place…and then I was speaking literally spanish and they would respond in English??♀️
nice and clean. good energy. the ppl are polite and nice. great service.
Messy, be prepared! Daughter says, “Best churro I have ever had! The staff were really nice and answered all of our questions. The milkshake I had was really good. Definitely recommended.”
This was our first visit today. It was a busy Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. There were so many options to pick from!! Chris was very nice and answered a few of our questions. It was kind of confusing where to order, people were mixed: waiting on orders or waiting to order, so thats annoying. We were given our receipt and a buzzer for when our order was ready. 45 minutes later I'm seeing people who came in after me already eating. I'm glad I went back up there to Chris who notified me my receipt had never printed out for them to make. The printer messed up on a few orders apparently. He made our order right away. The presentation was awesome and we really enjoyed our first time. We even ordered some Churros to go. You can see the Churros being made fresh too ?So after our visit, I asked both kids, out of 5 what did you rate our experience? They both say 4 because everything was great just the wait time. We will be back, but hopefully to the Winston Salem location when they open soon. ?
I went here for Valentines day with my girlfriend. We had a really nice time. All the employees were super nice and helpful especially the manager. The ice cream was great too.
I was excited to Come here ! Drove 2 hrs . But have been completely disappointed. I asked for an esquite but was not aware they're mix is pre-made per their staff as they stated so mix has cream , Relish and onions ? I asked if I can get it just regular with out the onions etc The employee stated no , Because It gourmet . Well in that case I rather go to an authentic taco truck. I also asked for A Nutella FILLED churro and this is what I got . But At this point I was upset I drove all this way for this . that I didn't even want to walk back to counter .
I absolutely love this place..it is unique and the food is delicious!!!
