SCAMMM!!! BAD EMPLOYEES!! I paid $100 at the door. If you show a picture of your id they make you pay 20$ per id pic plus the fee to get into the club. I was there for 30 minutes and an employee tried to fight a friend of mine for dancing within a crowd of people. When we questioned her about her behavior she got security and made us leave they wouldnt allow us to explain what happened and they didnt care. The security listened to nothing I had to say even though their employee was in the wrong. She was a short hispanic girl, darker skin. I will never be returning to this club theyre a scam.
Literally the worst experience I had going to a club. I turned 21 this past year and went to limelight with my friends in greensboro nc. mind you I am from SC so our IDs are not the same. Showed the bouncer my ID he bent it and was trying to scrap something from my ID that was never there!!! gave it to another one and proceeded to do the same thing. As all South Carolinians know all our bars have scanners. Limelight does not I told them to scan it. The bouncer even told my friends I know what south carolina IDs look… well clearly he didn’t. He even asked me what high school I went which i told him even showed him my two COLLEGE IDS. If he had knowledge would know that school IDs DO NOT HAVE DOB. Even asked do I have another ID, like what other ID am I supposed to have?!?! Both of the male bouncers that worked march 5th around 1:20 AM kept cutting me off every time I wanted to speak had attitudes and proceeded to say I had attitude. My friend even told them well don’t you see why an attitude is here right now he couldn’t even ask the question. One of the bouncer even tried to walk up in my face HOW UNPROFESSIONAL which I told him and got mad because he kept saying I had attitude and told him if that’s the only thing then he could say about the situation about a young black female that is underline racial profiling he got mad and rolled his eyes. I Could not even talk to some in charge. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CLUB TO ANYONE WITH AN OUT OF STATE ID ESPECIALLY THEY DONT HAVE A SCANNER
Limelight is where it's at! I celebrated my birthday here and had an absolutely pleasant experience. The security guys were very friendly and cool. Our bottle girl Frenchie was beyond amazing! very sweet, beautiful, friendly and attentive! The ambiance was very enjoyable the music was on point it was packed and everyone was dancing. The drinks are awesome 10/10 recommend !
Awful experience the workers are extremely rude. I had put my jacket down and by the time I went back it was gone. I know I shouldn’t have put it down and don’t blame anyone for moving it. It was the workers that made the experience so awful. We simply asked around if anyone saw them move my groups jackets and were told workers moved them. Went over to the security to simply ask if they had seen anyone move our stuff or if they know where lost things goes. Security guard called us f’ing stupid, and told us to “get the f out of here and off the stage” great customer service. Even told us to “get off his ****” Went over to the bar and was told I’m “out of luck and they’re too busy” to even answer a simple question. Only bartender that helped was the woman downstairs who suggested 2 spots. Guess where they were. Exactly where she said, and had even told us they always put lost jackets there. Our jackets were behind the DJ booth pushed in a corner. Before the manager comes on here and answers inconsiderately like he always seems to do, this was Saturday the 5th. Read the reviews, the problem is not the customers, it’s your workers. Teach your workers some common decency to people are paying to enter your “club” and spend money there. Go to Arizona Petes also located in Greensboro. Such a better atmosphere and the workers actually respect people.

This is the worst club ever !! They were discriminating towards their own kind with no rational reason . It’s their job to cool down the situation but they were looking for trouble , it was way too packed (pretty sure they weren’t following covid regulations if they were so into the rules) anyways and they were just rude and tried to take a girl from her group even though she was from another country and didn’t know too much English. They didn’t try to talk about the situation and honestly were just trying to take as much money as possible. Do not recommend!!! The worst!!!! Never recommended going back and will never recommend this place to anyone.
me and my friends went there and i didn’t have my id on me i had a pic of it so they charged 10$ more. such a scam but ok anywayssss. we get in, it’s a good crowd, music is bumping, but the bartenders were extremely rude. there was only 1 nice woman who gave me free tap water. the other girls were rude, on their phone, vaping, staring at me like i was crazy when i asked for a free cup of water. she said it was 3$ and another guy was like i thought it was 2$ and she said no. it’s 3$. it was 2$ guys she was being rude. the bartender downstairs said 2$ so somethings wrong. management definitely needs to train their staff on hospitality because they have 0.
Where to begin...This place is heaven on earth. A truly gob-smacking experience. Beers flying everywhere, music blasting, fireballs being necked like there’s no tomorrow. Good vibes only. I went here around 15 Thursdays in a row and every single time I got absolutely rat-arsed off cheap booze. It’s the best place. Will forever hold a special place in my heart. To all the limelight workers, my love and respect goes out to you. You truly sent us to the mines of Moria every Thursday.
